This is being sold by our local legend hardware store up here in Bellingham WA. They are a very reputable shop. I would be surprised if it was a refurb but not listed as such. Either way, they will treat you right. Great customer service.
Nice!!!! Hopefully mine is as good as yours. Should be here by tomorrow
Lol I ordered 2 more.
I'm converting 1 to a track saw (since no one makes a full fledged left blade track saw). I'm using the Makita Adapter and dust port (196952- and 196953-0).
The track adapter is $40 at lowest I've seen, but won't be in until early February (or $80 if I didn't want to wait lol.)
I telk you what... I avoided trying the XSH03Z and I think it was due to price, and how it seemed like a lesser quality over their 36v and now 40v. But after using it for a few days, I'm really amazed.
This saw is unreal for size and battery. Powerful. Lightweight. And the footprint is great. I just thought it was a xsh02 with a rafter hook. Lol.
I sure wish makita made a blade left track saw though. It amazed me how right handed people are using right blade track saws. Ignorance is bliss I suppose. I miss being left handed

Thanks for the info and the ideas. I'm look into those parts you listed.. Yes I also avoided the saw due to price, however this is the lowest price I've ever seen on this saw, had to pull the trigger.
If you can make a accurate track saw out of this saw, you'd be a hell of a pioneer lol
Im hearing bosch is supposed to come out with blade left track capable saw under their profactor series. We believe it when we see it.. I'd imagine the price on it will be sky high

Yeah, the Bisch Strongarm is great, but it has some issues. I had promoted the Left Blade strongarm like crazy, but it turns out the tweaks they were supposed to do to it, aren't being done, and I'm crushed as I had been waiting neatly a year with high hopes on the Blade Left Version.
Both were made specifically for the XSH03Z. So if I'm not happy with the Blade Left Bosch Strongarm, I can at least use the Makita XSH03Z until someone finally makes a decent Blade Left tracksaw. (The only one out there is the Kreg and it's the worst saw ever made. )

You seem well informed.. Quick question if you can answer, do you know when the left blade bosch will hit the market in the states? Also what's your thoughts on Makita 36v dual battery tracksaw? It has high praises and reviews ... Thanks

You know, I heard Bosch would be releasing the Left Blade Strongarm before Father's Day here in the U.S. (June 19th) ...
I later heard they will premiere it at the WOC 2022 (World of Concrete) ; which started today in Las Vegas.
There will also be a live stream on YouTube tomorrow (January 19th) to, supposedly, show the new tools they released at the WOC event and maybe all the tools theyre releasing this year... but im skepticalon that.
The Bosch live stream will happen, but I've no idea what they'll show. Definitely the new Rotary Drill, but who knows??? Lol.

If I were to buy a Makita track saw (and I Definitely would if they were left blade) I'd go with the 40v ... but that's an entirely new platform if you don't have any 40v yet. (But wow, their 40v tools are mean beasts lol.) . So currently, I'd have to go with the 36v twin battery XPS01Z. (Primarily because I have plenty of the 18v batteries.)
So it's a tough call between the dual 18v (36V) and the new single battery 40V. The 40v has crazy good performance from what I've seen.

I did hear about WOC. Seen a guy holding a big a** masonry saw cheesing lol. Think it was 2 40v batts if not mistaking..
Im in a predicament because I currently have both Makita plunge saw and the bosch strong arm upgraded model. I got the bosch on a great deal that I couldn't pass up. But don't need 2 tracks saws.. And I'd prefer one blade left one over both. But I'm currently putting together a small garage workshop so I'll have to figure it out.
Yeah the Makita 40v is starting to grow on me after watching some in action.. I definitely get into the eco system if I came across a great deal

Now... there's still several more tools they will release this year. Tools that are not associated with concrete/masonry. One they shown yesterday was the new Freak impact driver. Wayyyyyyyy better than the Gen 3 (which was wayyyy better than the Gen 2). So keep an eye out for that. But if you are patient and don't need sn impact right away, then they have something even better coming. I can't say any more.
So as far as the Saw conundrum you are in... it's tough. Makita makes a better track saw that's for sure. But, with no Blade Left on the block, or even prototyped (as far as I know) it seems you are in a tight spot for choosing.
If I had my left arm functioning still, I'd have 2 track saws right now in my possession. The 40v Makita Track Saw, and the XSH01Z (the 36v, 9-¼" with track capable base). For myself, It'd be great to have a giant track capable saw with 3-⅜" cutting depth, for bigger items like barn beams. But that thing is like 13lbs without the 2 batteries. Lmao so not one I'd want to use often.
So for now, I'd say to stick with what you have. Then, when the better Blade Left Strongarm comes out, grab one of those, and sell your Blade Right version. Now you will have a regular Makita track saw (until you buy the 40v lol) and you will have a track capable 7-¼" Blade Left Saw in the Bosch. And that will serve as double-duty being the hybrid saw it is.
Personally, if the Blade Left 25GCN Bosch Strongarm comes out, I'll definitely grab that and it'll put my other saws away to collect dust. And then if a company makes a true Blade Left Track Saw in the year 2033, I'll be all over that! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Wow that's interesting. I kinda knew it was too good to be true lol..
But I was thinking of selling the Makita 36v track saw, but figure I get at least year out of it and then decide..
I see your after the best of the best lol. I had a chance to get the 9-1/4 36v for around $360 brand new. I regret not getting it. But it's an odd blade size and in hindsight Im better off with the HS0600.
I received the xsh03 and it's brand spankin new and square out of the box. No complaints! I will be adding that track base guide the next time I order from toolnut!! I didn't know that piece existed! Thanks for the info!

Ughhh it better not be beat to death or a refurb/repair.
Mine arrives Monday, I'll keep you updated.
(Yeah, the Shipping will take forever for myself, as it comes from a town in Washington on the US/Canada border and I'm in Tampa Bay area of Florida.)

For the XSH03Z you can get the track adapter. The least expensive I found is at ToolNut
https://www.toolnut.com/makita-19...apter.html
Then add the makita dust collection adapter for the saw I got on ebay.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Makita-1...632-2357-0
Both were made specifically for the XSH03Z. So if I'm not happy with the Blade Left Bosch Strongarm, I can at least use the Makita XSH03Z until someone finally makes a decent Blade Left tracksaw. (The only one out there is the Kreg and it's the worst saw ever made. )

They told me on 2 occasions they weren't going to do a Left Blade in the CN because sales were abysmally low compared to the GCN (The one you have.) They later told me they would be discontinuing the non-0lunge version because everyone that bought it, returned it to get the better one.
