Technically they are one-time use but many people including myself reuse them without problems.

3M has released guidelines for reusing single use respirators:
https://multimedia.3m.com/mws/med...lletin.pdf
N95s do NOT have to necessarily be disposed of after 1 day. Heck, doctors working covid floors were reusing them without any significant reported adverse effects during the first year.

I've been wearing N95 and P100 for well over a decade, and never work anything less than an N95 during the pandemic. I wear it for 8-10 hours a day, and when I have to work with confirmed or suspected positives that may produce aerosols (ie spray me) I layer a regular blue mask on top so I can toss it afterwards.

I am on my feet constantly, and moving swiftly. I don't have any trouble breathing. It is mainly a matter of wearing it properly (read the directions! watch the youtube that 3m provides!) and getting acclimatized. I wear glasses, and fogging is a minimal problem when worn and used properly.

I don't understand why people have been so reluctant to wear n95s. they are not expensive and have been readily available to us in the US during most of the pandemic. they fit very well, protect very well, and are far easier to breathe through and wear comfortably than all of the other options. i mean, these are masks that were carefully designed and made by solidly reputable companies like 3m and honeywell since long before the pandemic... OF COURSE they are going to fit and feel a lot better than the cloth mask you get at the gas station.

yet today I had to order two gentlemen off of grounds because they insisted on wearing bandanas for masks... at a location where hundreds of children ineligible for vaccination are present!

in any event, 3m n95 have always been my favorite. I wear the 9010 mainly, but I would be glad for this model as well. stay safe, everyone, and thanks to the OP for the post.
what's the consensus on fake masks from Amazon? we already know it's a fact that they comingle products from 3rd party (china) sellers?

Check Home Depot they keep getting in stock. Pairs well with 3M Virtua glasses if so inclined. (No fog!)

I ordered these exact masks from a Amazon a few months ago. Mine were NOT fake. Older versions of this mask used pink headband. This version came with blue headbands. Local hospital uses the same masks & the headband color is the same. This is a good deal for these masks.

It's about double this price at home depot though (~$20 for a 10 pack). But yeah it's convenient if you need good masks right now.

Are these one time use? Or can you wear them a few times before they lose effectiveness?

EDIT* to clarify, I meant that- a standard n95 mask can be worn for hours in a standard work setting (think- non stop sawdust or non-stop airborne germs in the hospital) and not lose effectiveness. I'm only wearing mine for short periods two days at week when I go into the office: 20 minutes on the train to work, 20 minutes on the train home, maybe an hour in the office (we only need to wear a mask in common areas). And another hour at the grocery store during my weekly grocery store runs. So in a given week, I'm wearing a for maybe 5 hours total.

I don't buy anything that is important to my health from Amazon. I'd rather pay the extra for these masks at home Depot.

If you have business account on Amazon, you can get it at 5 boxes for about $55 total. So cheap.
