That said, the level of nostalgia it produced in my parents and closely aged siblings easily merited the cost. It plays the song that is the theme when Mario hops on Yoshi.. FWIW.

Not sure if it still works the way it does, but seller doesn't really matter, or at least it didn't.
What happens is, seller ships product to Amazon stock, gets put with other Amazon stock of same product.
People buy from whichever seller they pick, and item gets taken from stock, maybe counterfeit, maybe genuine.
I might be missing some details, but that's what it comes down to, "polluted stock".
Not sure if it will be the case with these. Return of they look take, easy enough anyway.
I guess people buy anything.
