This is a cute product. Many will complain that it is overpriced, which (IMO) it probably is if you break it down to the components.

That said, the level of nostalgia it produced in my parents and closely aged siblings easily merited the cost. It plays the song that is the theme when Mario hops on Yoshi.. FWIW.

Not sure if it still works the way it does, but seller doesn't really matter, or at least it didn't.

What happens is, seller ships product to Amazon stock, gets put with other Amazon stock of same product.

People buy from whichever seller they pick, and item gets taken from stock, maybe counterfeit, maybe genuine.

I might be missing some details, but that's what it comes down to, "polluted stock".

Not sure if it will be the case with these. Return of they look take, easy enough anyway.

I bought this from hallmark a couple months ago for the same price. If you are interested in it just a little bit then you will be happy with it. It plays the super Mario brothers theme when you press the power button and you press it again to turn it off. It's a total nostalgia buy but I enjoyed it and will enjoy it for years to come. Looking forward to the Nintendo 64 if and when it happens.
