Or clear browser history/cookies. I have mine set to clear when I close it so usually have no issues getting a new code if I need one.
Sure if you don't care about wiping all your history and cookies used to authenticate you with bank website and the like… and have to authenticate with all those sites you regularly use. Not something I would recommend but it would work. Just unnecessary unless yo are trying to keep your wife from seeing what you do on the internet.

I have some set to not delete every time but my bank and CC seem to want it anyway (probably a good thing). Anytime spent on the web is just loading pages and pages of junk these days & I'm tired of everyone wanting to track what I do. Smilie

You can also have multiple browsers, with only one that clears cookies, etc. On my iPad, I have Safari, Edge, and Chrome installed. I use Safari and Edge pretty regularly with permanently open tabs on both, so keep cookies. But Chrome is more of my temp browser for experimenting, so clearing cookies there is no big deal for me. (Actually, I think I have Firefox and DuckDuckGo installed as well, but hardly ever use those.)

Are the codes working anymore? It's throwing an error for me - Promotion code is invalid.
Edit: Sorry false alarm, it worked after a few tries..not sure what went wrong.

You could also buy a new computer to get the code. What I suggested is by far the simplest solution, start your browser in incognito mode. Why is anyone wasting time debating it. Nevermind, just remembered people her like sprint which means we definitely do not think alike. Lol

Worked fine for me today. I pasted the code in. I then deleted the last digit and typed it back in. This trick seems to work when pasting codes directly goes wonky.

Pretty ridiculous comparison. I have and use multiple browsers already and suspect that many people already do because some sites work better on a particular browser. My reply was merely another way of doing things which may appeal to some people. But go ahead and keep your blinders on so you don't get distracted by anything outside of your three foot world.

Anyone knows the state of "Reconditioned" Phone for TW? The return policy is 30 days, but they don't pay return shipping and take 30 business to give money back.

Any real life experiences with their return policy?

oh it doesn't work well for TW refurbished phones because the vendor here will refresh the SN of the aftermarket parts to original. The only way to confirm is through apple repair center. Check the other XR threads where warranty repair was rejected by apple after inspection, though all looks genuine without modification or replacement, but apple is able to detect it after opening the case. And granted at least all battery are aftermarket replacement thats why all their phones always show 100% battery life with just 1 or 2 charge cycles no matter the age, of course, this means apple official warranty has been voided.

Check this comment from the ppl who sent it to apple for repair: https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=152898139&postcount=811
I know the SOP to reprogram mainboard after using non-Apple-approved parts.

Over the years, I came across a fair number of repaired/rebuilt iPhone units (mostly in/from China). If the unit I received was previously repaired, the "cover up" was definitely A++ on my book - I simply can't spot any physical evidence.

On closer look, both lightning cable and the charger shipped in the box are non-Apple parts. Smilie

The brightness of the screen?

Guess what?

Only young healthy eyes can withstand the bright screens πŸ˜’

I had LASIK AND PRK 😬
My eyes can tolerate a minimum brightness. I can't
even look at a bulb directly πŸ₯Ί

According to all feedback I have been reading the screen is the difference that stands out the most.
Yet most users don't mind because IF you change the font to "magnified" (or something like that) 😬 the super brightness is not necessary

Try it 🀷 ♀️

There is way to check if parts have been replaced before you turn the phone on BTW. ALL you need is the IMEI, from the box or the emailed confirmation from TW
where do I check if my phone has replacements parts using just IMEI ? Website/ link would be appreciated

I used my XR To show you how to check yourself.

You can use the website below, to check your IMEI:
https://imeicheck.com/apple-warranty-check [imeicheck.com]

That website is 100% accurate. Just don't buy anything from them πŸ™‚

You can also check with your Serial # directly on Apple.com, but for this you do have to open the settings of your iPhone.
https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ [apple.com]

If you have been reading the comments, you should notice that all ppl that have received a refurbished phone STILL HAVE Apple warranty on them. And that's because the iPhones were fixed by an Apple authorized agent πŸ™‚ that does not mean you get the same parts as a brand new phone. That just means that Apple trusts them enough to still honor the remaining Apple warranty of your iPhone

EDIT: A user just pointed out to me that a lot of these phones are not updated in the Apple warranty system as refurbished.
To truly know what type of phone you have you must open your settings and look at the Model #. I have attached a pic for you to understands what the letters of your model number mean. If your iPhone' model # starts with an F, the it's refurbished.

That does not appear to be the case. A user in the other thread mentioned receiving a phone with several months left on the warranty (according to the Apple warranty info), but it was not honored because they replaced the screen with an aftermarket part. That would also imply that the refurbisher is also not an Apple authorized agent. (Not that there is anything wrong with that … there's probably no way the phones would be $130 with actual Apple parts.). Do you have any information that indicates the phones were refurbed by an Apple authorized agent? It seems those are usually referred to as "Apple recertified devices" or something like that.

Also, repairs that were not conducted by Apple would most likely not show up in the IMEI website if they have been replaced by a place that clones the circuit board identifiers in order to bypass the iOS component detections. There would be no reason for them to report to Apple for something like that if they're not partnered with them.

That is odd 😬

Then how come TW is not changing the IMEI?
How?
I have attached a pic for you to see what the letters on the Model number mean.

If these refurbished phones are not being updated in Apple system then you have to, must open the settings to find out for sure what kind of phone you received 😬 sorry about that

And most msgs I've read have been good, there has to be some that did not get so lucky 😬 I do believe you

I also provided that pic to the user while needed more info
