Thank You - repped
I made the mistake of buy first ask questions later and bought one (then realized I needed 2). I guess I will have to wait for the next time. Thanks again for the help
My computer has a free ssd 2.5 slot and a 500gb stock m.2 drive. If I were to buy this, I would be better off reinstalling windows and making the 2.5 drive primary because it will run much faster. I am not sure I want to do that. I will wait for another 2tb ssd 2.5 drive that is $130.

That's what I did. Put in the Evo as the primary C: drive and installed a fresh copy of windows. The computer runs fast as hell😉
can someone recommend with their experience a good 2.5" to 3.5" Drive Converter Internal SSD Hard Drive Bracket Adapter ?. I need to use this on an Old Dell Desktop Optiplex 790.
How does the 2tb QVO compare at $34 less?? I am hoping one of those cheap drives like the Levin goes down in price to $100 for a 2tb, so I can just use it as a secondary drive.

Look up adbracket-ssd on bezos's site It's blue and $4. Sets the drive to the side so cabling attaches in the same spot, unlike many others that center it. Also is very thin, does not allow a pair of stacked drives. Packaging is CRAZY barebones, and the latest ones we got were a little scuffed up but who cares you never see them.

Still running a 120gb SSD on C and a dedicated HDD for my games, have been putting it off for years on just getting one big main drive and forgetting the rest. Can't wait to finally clean up this mess. In for one.

Previously had to pass on M.2 deal because SATA slots full and 2nd M.2 slot disables some of those. :\
