Not sure which one is better.
Edit: upon reading, skill is the company invented circular saws to world. But I picked Metabo kit, making the decision more confusing.
BTW, Metabo hpt is hitachi tools but no more Hitachi as hitachi sold its power tool section. Why do I read stuff at 3am, damn.
I suspect that they're being phased out in favor of the next-up model CMES510 which had a magnesium base and 15 amp moter.
This model will suit a home user just fine though and actually has better cutting depth than it's big brother.
Make sure you have a good extension cord (14 gauge or better if under 50ft) as circ saws tend to pull a lot of amperage on start up and if they get stuck.
