I'm pretty sure that device can be swapped once activated and the plan itself costs around $40 on sale. I have similar set up for my kid as emergency while he's in school. Doesn't spoil them with unlimited data and not fancy enough to play games or show off so he can stay focused on learning lol.
I am always new to HSN!
I activated the Samsung A11 yesterday as a new Tracfone account. Upon activation they sent the following text, which states 60 days:
Hi there, a quick update from Tracfone.
We have an updated unlocking policy. You can check it here http://tf-w.co/NZyp2bR

I currently have a BYOD TracFone (AT&T) SIM/phone. Could I use OP's deal to extend the service on my existing phone rather than keeping the OP's service on OP's phone? What are the steps?

Also, which carrier is OP's deal: Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile; or do you choose the carrier upon receipt and activation?
I like to know too. I want to use this sim in my t mobile unlocked phone. Is it possible to use the sim from this deal?

these cheap phones are great for emergency phones in the car or at work. just keep in mind per the T&C you have to use the phone every so often and not just let it sit idle.

You activate this phone as a transfer of service. Phone is on the Verizon network. Then you would have to get a new byop sim kit and reactivate your existing phone and then your service would be the accumulation!

Let it start date on terms and conditions is that you have to at least use it once per 6 months but with terms and conditions you have to always be following up to make sure they don't change it which them being bought by Verizon lately better be looking every month if not every week to see what they're going to change next!

Thanks. So there's no direct way to merge an existing TracFone service onto this phone, then merge this phone's service back to the original BYOD phone?

Or would it be better to do "add a line" and thereby gain rewards that could be spent for any of the lines on your account?

Texts, Minutes and Data are good for 365 days (not per month). When either are depleted prior to 365 days, you either buy new phone package or separate items (Minutes, Days, Texts or Data) from another source. Tracfone direct, tracfone via eBay or Walmart are good sources.
I've been waiting for Tracfone via eBay deal for $30 / annual, but this deal is better as it includes new phone. I purchased same package in July 2021. I will activate new phone in July 2022, then unlock (prior to Nov '21 activation, so 1 year unlock) and dump on eBay for $25 or more. Rinse and repeat every time new HSN Phone deal comes up for $30. Applause
Please explain, you a new phone each year. You activate the phone, u don't you that phone and it automatically unlock after one year.

The way that I told you is the best way to handle it else if you add a line and get points that's not going to help you very much! You are basically throwing your money away doing what you just suggested!

If you activate this phone bundle, theoretically it should unlock in 60 days!

You're right about the customer service but if you can get around their website and make sure that it's up and going correctly, this type of service is for people that don't use the phone as much and that don't have a lot of resources either!

Most people text a lot and you can buy a thousand texts for $5!

I really need to figure out how people are extending tracfone plans on locked phones less than a year old.

Apparently you use some kind of temporary IMEI but that's dangerous if you don't own/control that IMEI and the process fails.
Just contact CS, they will help u to merge plan or give you a new sim if needed.

This question was asked and my account has been hacked when I try to reply so I will answer under it.

Can I activate after 1-2 years or it has activation expiry date?

I don't know how the new company Verizon handles this but TracFone used to allow you up to a year to activate and if you did so longer than a year, you would only be activating the phone and you would lose your bundled minutes and years time!

If you can do it on the website by yourself you are better off because 95% of the people that work there do not know what they're doing!

The Moto E (XT2052DL) in particular has a faster CPU than the Moto G Pure according to Geekbench 5. The single-core score for the Moto E and the Moto G is ~230 and ~130 respectively so the Moto E boasts around a 76% uplift. Can't go wrong with the cheaper option in your case.
2gb ram vs 3gb… is the core speed offset by ram limiting what apps can run?
