*EDIT*
Just realized it is OOS. Good. Was thinking about getting it as a spare and was happy I saved $29.
I would mostly just want this phone/service to have as a backup phone to bring with me on my commute (76 miles, each way), because I encounter several spots along my commute, where I completely lose my T-Mobile service. And I worry that if I were to break down, or need to make an important phone, along one of these no service stretches, it would definitely nice to have a backup phone with Verizon service on it that I could use. However, I would also like to be able to use it as a Wi-Fi device at home, to save the battery on my main cell phone.
So, if you wouldn't mind replying again and sharing some feedback on the actual performance differences between the two phones, I would really appreciate that.

"Confirmation: Your Order Has Been Cancelled"
as if I initiated it... but I didn't. Body of email also says
"Your order has been cancelled
This email is to confirm that your HSN order has been cancelled."
no mention that maybe it was canceled because they oversold?

If you activated/used on TF there's no reason to deal with SM, they have nothing to do with it. (You do need to add additional yr of service since carryover service doesn't count towards unlock, they got me on that once before).
Need more specific details.. Sounds like you didn't register phone correctly.

i believe i activated the tf sim card on another unlocked phone and then i used the activated sim card in the simple mobile phone...i was not able to activate tf sim card on my sm phone...someone advised me to take this approach and it works for me.
i added more minutes for the next 30 days.....do i need to add another yr of svc to unlock?
tf cust svc stated that since it's a smple mobile phone, they had to transfer me to them to unlock.......
i thought the system would registered the phone info,,,not???
thanks

I know what you did might work temporarily (it did in the past but wasn't legal according to TF terms). Recently they've been contacting users & telling them to put sim back in original phone, maybe because Verizon bought all Tracfone companies 11/23/21 and they're now enforcing the actual policy.
Someone in the TW iPhone 11 thread just said today they had their 3 day old line canceled (lost the number & whatever service they had) because they used sim activated on another phone. Not what you wanted to hear but does that help explain it?

hmmmm...that's a bummer.....i've been using the svc for a whole yr on sm phone and the svc is not recognized by the system even though it's a tf sim card.........thanks for your time...guess i'll have to ditch them...
