Out of stock right now.

My order from yesterday is still being processed. I'll give them a couple of days then call and ask what's going on.

I wish I had priced match with Best Buy..... oh well.

Edit: what's up with all the dislikes? Geez. Sounds like you folks are mad you didn't get in on the deal.
Probably because you're calling customer service about an order with a shipping date of middle of February.

Why call? Just wait it out like the rest of us. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet, calm down.

Did not finish yesterday checkout with another 32GB/1TB and it still active, allow me to change address and showing in stock in cart. Weird.

You're not wrong, but for real... when IS the retailer required to honor it? If I get a full, non-pending charge, is that really not already an agreement or contract? And if it is, why can they do what they want but I can't cancel without a 15% restocking fee if we haven't entered a contract?

I realize this falls under "This is how things currently are," but things are wildly unfriendly to the consumer if the retailer can just change the price / cancel a fully charged order and we can't do a return or cancel without a ton of hassle or fees.
Isn't there an "...except for pricing mistakes..." verbiage on their site?

I searched for HP's price error policy. I couldn't find any active page with the policy but I found the following from a page cached by Google, which shows a date of 01/15/22:

Despite our best efforts, a small number of items may contain pricing, typography, or photography errors. Correct prices and promotions are validated at the time your order is placed. If an item's correct price is higher than our listed price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

These terms apply only to products sold by HP.com; reseller offers may vary. Items sold by HP.com are not for immediate resale. Orders that do not comply with HP.com terms, conditions, and limitations may be cancelled. Contract and volume customers not eligible.

Probably because calling customer service to inquire about a order you placed on a product you know had a pricing error further increases the chances of you and everyone else getting screwed.

I second this. Everyone needs to just lay low unless you have a legitimate issue with your order. I suspect most people contacting HP don't *NEED* to, but rather can't contain themselves. Patience is a virtue…

I predict that HP will keep everyone's money for as long as they possibly can before cancelling orders. A chat rep that I spoke to yesterday about returning my order from their Black Friday sale said that they are aware of the price mistake and MAY cancel my new order from yesterday. I expect there will be a lot of this kind of non-committal language from them over the coming days (they use similar language regarding the 15% restocking fee for returns).

FYI it took me over an hour to convince the rep to process my return from Black Friday without charging the 15% restocking fee (there are some major screen uniformity issues, minor performance issues and a delivery that was over a month later than promised). I said that I'd keep the faulty laptop if they would price match their own website and refund the difference, but no dice!
It's interesting, it'll give some time for the Alder Lake effect to see how big it is. There might be a lot of dumping from retailers going on IF they are as studly as first evidence holds up. Sure, the dumped laptops will be a great value but some people only want to buy the best current when they buy.

I think once you receive the product then the "buying" process is complete. Hell even if they ship they can pull their product back. It's not yours until it's in your hands.

DO NOT call customer service, this is common knowledge. You would bring more awareness to this deal and if it's a pricing mistake will screw it up for yourself and everyone else. Plus it makes zero sense for you to call about something that won't even ship til mid February, once they process the order they still have to assemble the config as well. It literally serves you no good to reach out to them, that's why you're getting the dislikes btw

Gonna use this argument the next time a porch pirate strikes. Since it was never in my hands, it was never mine and its still their product.
