Sony for:
- Size
- Darker rooms
- Better sound
- PS5

Samsung for:
- Brighter rooms
- Need for viewing at wide angles
- Better UI
- XboxSX

Both are really good choices and I think it mostly comes down to the location you will put it in. Light in room, how far your seats are from the TV, what angle from the TV, etc.

Can you clarify why one is better for the PS5 and the other better for XboxSX?

mini LEDs still use a separate panel for backlighting/local dimming otherwise we wouldnt be dealing with dirty screen effects and so on.. OLEDS are the only screens where the LEDS are self lit

I am torn on this (or the 90) vs an LG OLED for a bright room with a wall of windows to the south. I also would like the four HDMI 2.1 ports on the LG vs just one on these Samsungs. Anyone have advice?
I just ordered the QN90 75" on black friday. Its in a room where the other two outter walls are full of windows (contemporary home). It looks great during the day. My wife complains its too damn bright at night, esp if you have it in game mode!

best tv's to me with no burnin.- I cannot fathom buying OLED no matter how good the picture is if theres any possible risk to a burn in forming. the technology is flawed to me due to that, and id rather pay for the top QLED vs OLED everyday.
Tier 2: Samsung/Sony = best mid-tier TVs (sony x90 or samsung qn90/85)
Tier 3: Samsung = best low-tier TVs (cheaper qleds)
The people most concerned about burn in are those who've never owned an OLED display.

As long as you don't have Fox News or CNN on the tv 24/7 you really shouldn't experience any permanent burn in.

OLED picture quality is leagues above anything else out there right now. I saw this tv and the QN90 in local Best Buy last weekend and was really underwhelmed by the picture quality of both for how expensive they are.

Problem is I'm a gamer. Static images are primarily all I do. Icons, maps, etc. i can see this being a real issue

I'm pretty sure that's an error in the description. Would be nice to know for sure, I thought they were all supposed to only come with one 2.1 HDMI.
