Sony for:
- Size
- Darker rooms
- Better sound
- PS5

Samsung for:
- Brighter rooms
- Need for viewing at wide angles
- Better UI
- XboxSX

Both are really good choices and I think it mostly comes down to the location you will put it in. Light in room, how far your seats are from the TV, what angle from the TV, etc.

Can you clarify why one is better for the PS5 and the other better for XboxSX?

Maybe Costco will update price to 2699 this week
I have a feeling price drops are dependent on who wins these next football games. The Vizio 85 dropped in price. Good Rtings specs

I wish my tv allow me to use those 2 profiles at certain times.

ie. day from 8am to 9pm, 9pm to 4am dark.

between I have the same 2 settings, and I hate swapping them everyday/night.

You can set them up through smart app like Google or Alexa. I can change the settings through the app

I mean, I can click2. buttons on my tv controller. I just wish it was an automated tv setting in future. would be really nice. I make the screen real dim at night, like extremely, to help me fall asleep. and my auto timer goes off at 1am everynight, I am asleep by like 12.45 to wake up 7.30

I recently bought a q80a at a extremely good price. Can you tell me what you are missing from your q80a that will cause you to want to upgrade to the qn85a other than obviously the size difference of going from a 75" to a 85"? I can see a brighter picture on the qn85a at Best Buy vs the q80a but other than that they look pretty close in picture quality to me.
Where'd you get your q80a and at what price? Been looking at this set

85" QN85A is $2999 or $2699 with student discount at Samsung website. Plus there may be. 6% cash back with Honeee. Also if you do a cancel after placing order Samsung usually will give $50 credit to not cancel. And if you chat with customer service they may give you 10% up to $250 refund after receiving the TV. Got my 85" QN90A for roughly $2500 from their last deal. Good luck!
