Bought it when it was $100 during Black Friday. But didn't really watch much because all kinds of blackout, so can't really watch the games I want. And for those I can watch, it's not the same as the ones you can watch on broadcast. You can only watch from one angle with no commentary. Also the ads are annoying. Wish I was able to try before I bought.

SAve a few extra bucks if you have extra apple credit laying that you obtained on sale and sign up thru the app store on your iphone. Worst case apple gift cards are always 5% off at TArget with Red card albeit probably not worth the hassle although probably can be done online. Also signing up with your iphone makes it a bit easier to cancel when april 15th rolls around. Not sure if everyoen does this but I immediately set Calendar appointments on my iphone as a cancellation reminder for subscriptions.

Depends on platform. I use a VPN to work around blackouts on my PC and on my NVIDIA Shield TV's android app. I believe if you use a phone, though, it will use your GPS coordinates instead.
