I have this and some points to note (a) different than other pro league where you lose the 1-2 local teams black outs the NBA in addition to that has a LOT of games shown on TNT ESPN and NBA TV. So that means a LOT of black outs. (b). If you have or plan to go to YouTube tv or (I think also) directTV stream you need to sign up to league pass through them or else you can't use their DVR and 4K (some games) abilities (c) local games are blacked out for 3 days!! (Very excessive)

Yes, I big waste of money for me. I can't watch my home team and I can't watch the best games which got broadcast on the big networks. For the ones I can watch, the one angle silent game is just dull to watch. I only watched like 2 games since I bought it.

Maybe only good if you are doing draft king or fantasy sports

check on Reddit - I've seen alot of ppl on reddit say that VPN works for that, but I am skeptical because a lot of those ppl are streaming on laptops I think... so may not be the same for smart TV - let me know what you find out

I thought I give this a shot since there is a free 7 day trial when you signup. Today is a good day to test because my home team (Warriors) is 'blacked out" for my area. I'm using PrivadoVPN for my VPN. I tested changing my location to multiple U.S. and Canada location with no luck. I kept getting a GEO area when selecting the Warriors game. I made the point to clear my browsers cache and cookies with each attempt. I gave changing my VPN to Japan and so far it's working :-) .. this is ymmv depending on your VPN.
