I own this monitor. And while it is excellent, I think this sale price should really be the everyday price. $480 is absurd.
On a side note, if you do end up purchasing this monitor there have been many online complaints about the brightness and that is because Samsung defaults one of the settings to Eco mode and it's buried and hard to find.
Ridiculous comment.

Lol you'll pay $400 more to improve all these things. You're in the $200 price range buddy get out of here,
I was providing information omitted when the OP posted. Anyone buying a monitor would want to know these things. I posted because I had to look it up so why not take a second and share that info. Funny how you see the worst in people. You might want to see a therapist.
Confirmed it is $45 less at perks at work but unfortunately it WAS out of stock there. I told them to notify me when back in. I got multiple e-mails that it was back in stock but each time I checked it was out again. Eventually I was able to order two.
I got two for $235.19 +tax each with the ability to use accumulated points for $20 back and earned enough points for another $20 on a future purchase.
I wish this was the speakers version.
How do you use Samsung points for $ back (or anything for that matter)? I've accumulated quite a few from previous deals but haven't found clear information on how to actually use them.

Log into perks for work. Choose Samsung as a product. I think I did it under electronics. It'll pop up a window frame on the right to choose to use points when going to store. Go to the store and you'll see the discounted $235 price. A week or so after the purchase is completed, you'll get the $$ credited to you.
The software I'm in every day , all day, has a GUI that can be configured to use the entire 4k vertical resolution, effectively. This means I don't have to scroll anywhere vertically to use any button, switch, slider, etc within the interface. The 2000 pixels horizontally is plenty wide for the documents I'm looking at. I do this times 3 work streams simultaneously. I don't need any scaling at 43 inches per monitor, and I don't have to move my neck way far to the left and way far to the right (it would have been 9+ feet across if used horizontally) to see all 3 screens.
