SD Users have reported being able to load these into the Disney App and using the balance at Disneyland.
Just Google the restaurant you are interested in and check in the Disney app if they take payments directly from it.

I was limited to two transactions, one per order.
Me too, one at a time and on different credit cards (in case the second order got canceled but the charge goes through). Both orders were fulfilled.

Yep, note there is a $1,000 limit per card and I believe you can only have 5 cards on your account at any one time (just remove the empty ones unless you might return something).

Heading to Disney st the end of the month so this could be useful. Anyone know if we can load these in to the app and just spend the balance or do I need to keep track of multiple cards/barcodes?
I was there last month and showed my barcode on my phone screen, wasn't aware of being able to merge gift cards like other commenters mention.

Are you staying on property? Disney world or land?

You can use the app and pay for stuff with gcs, but it's a PITA and you have to type in the numbers every time.

But, if you're staying on property, you can have the hotel load your GC to your hotel account and charge against that, as a default method of payment. Basically you're prepaying your hotel balance and it just deducts from that ad you spend. If you load too much, the balance can go back on the GC you originally used (just like with any Disbey GC payments like tickets), so be sure to hold onto it.

Yes you can merge. I forget the max balance, maybe $1k each? They have a website just for merging.

I payed for an entire vacation with GC last spring, nearly $10k worth, and I believe it was 10 cards. Yes it's a hassle, but it's also basically the only way to get a discount at Disney.

You can use it for anything Disney. Tickets, hotel, food, stuff in the park, even Disney store.

You can also use these at the hotel ticket sale places that you'd find at hotels not affiliated with Disney but nearby (specifically Anaheim)

Where did you get discounts on $10k of giftcards?

If you're staying on property you can go to the front desk and apply gift cards to you charges. Just don't wait until your final day, as the might charge your credit card before checking out.

BJ's has always like a 4% discount. Sometimes a bit more. Target with Red Circle is 5%. You can buy cards for months before your trip.

I ordered one about an hour ago. Just tried again for giggles, and used the same account and same payment method. Went through just fine and have already received both GCs.

Staying off property this time but will still be spending money in the parks for food and souvenirs.
