Had to take a break from studying so I went peelie/tearpad hunting at my local grocery store . That always clears my head! Teehee

Found:

GreenWorks - B2G1 MFG hangtag booklets on toilet bowl cleaner and something with a sprayer - they're "16s" and expire 8/31/09.

Corona Beer booklets w/the following: $1/ 6-pk Fiji Water; $1/2 cherry tomatoes; $1/1 Weber seasonings; $1/2 Avocados; $1 Bic Lighter; $6 MIR wyb Beef, Chicken or Seafood and a 12-pk of Corona.... Beer

Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage Links FREE wyb a 12-pk Miller Lite. They're "00s" so I'll have to get ahold of Pretzels for these... They buy Miller products (coded for the beer).

$1 on Produce wyb Corn Flakes Touch of Honey Cereal peelie on the cereal - exp 12/31/09

$2/2 Fanta 12-pks - exp 9/30/09 peelies found on Fanta (49000).

Dixie B2G1 tearpad - yep, these are the "16s" - never find these good ones around here - not many left on the pad either... darn it!

B1G1 Mars Singles "14s" - up to .85 value Teehee. Only 2 blinkies left in the machine. Someone around here knows my trick!!

Kotex $1.50/2 blinkies.

and the biggest tearpad I've ever seen for $1/2 Caffeine Free Diet Coke & Diet Coke. These things are almost a full sheet of paper sized! There are a couple of recipes on them and the coupon is just in the corner - but man, what a waste of paper!!

That's all - Oh yeah, I found some of those $5 J & Js at Wags a while back too - and $10 Norelco blinkies - can anyone say KM O*v*e*r*a*g*e??

Now I can get back to studying.......

Botched a family reunion today like nobody's business. I hate it when I do something stupid like that, makes me feel like such a novice. Smilie Did anyone ever find out if T salvages pet food if it's returned? If they do then I'll just donate it and chalk it up to lesson learned. Other than that was totally the windshield. Had very crappy cashier selection and the one I picked did really well. Not sure how she would have handled my autos (if I could get those right) but did well none the less.
I'm pretty sure they don't salvage pet food when you return it. Been there, returned that Teehee

I LOVE this idea:
This is from an article in the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper on Sunday.
The Business Section asked readers for ideas on "How Would You Fix the Economy?"
I think this guy nailed it!
Dear Mr. President: Please find below my suggestion for fixing America 's economy. Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan.
You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the Following stipulations:
1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed. It can't get any easier than that!
If more money is needed, have all members of Congress and their constituents pay their taxes...
Charlene Walls-Simpson
Ok, but there are some places where you can't buy a car, a house, and then have enough left to retire on with only $1 million. Sadwalk

Quote from tootsie67 :
audriannasmama's beat me to it. I think the article's math is skewed Confused 40 million at 1 million per retiree would cost 40 Trillion. The government had a $700 Billion bailout right? That would cover what-700,000 people at 1,000,000 (One million) per person? I do have a friggin wicked headache so my math may be WAYYYY off.
Quote from dpags :
Ok - I totally read that article wrong!! Teehee I need to put on my Glasses2!! I have no idea what the heck I was reading - the saddest part??? I'm a friggen accountant and I'm studying for certification today!!! Rofl2
I didn't want to be the first to say it, but I was thinking, "Dpags' math is way off!!!" EEK! As long as you get the math right at T though, you're good Cool

Yup, I was just thinking of running to the car to check on these. They were for Phillips I thought? Is that who makes Norelco? Guess I'll be using these next week at the K.
Need to check out the oil for shavers??? I used them once on some sort of cleaning solution I thought.... Hmmmmm

Teehee Only off by a couple trillion - accountants put their decimals in the wrong place all the time... in my case, I dropped a few zeroes and commas along the way too!

It's either cleaning solution or oil, something like that. All I know is it's $4.94, so it's $5.06 overage per q. It's hanging on the side of an endcap at the end of the shaver aisle.

Yeah, well we need to come up with something to do with this "solution" cause I got a few of them and no takers at any stock sales.
I guess people don't really clean their shavers?
