This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Hey all! Wave I am kind of curious to see if anyone might know why Target charges .06 for a can/bottle deposit when the actual deposit is .05 per each. Yeah. I am bitching about a penny. I have officially turned into my mother. laugh out loud

Didn't someone over here say that they had a b1g1 double during the last K event and get 2 items for free? Maybe I'm losing my mind.

Well, I questioned it over here to see if any of the pro's had experienced it for sure. It has been reported in the K thread that this now happens, or at least started happening last round. I am going to try it out and see on Sunday.
Man, would that be nice!!!

They also say that if you have a $1 off 2 coupon, it now will double to $2 on both items.

I'm skeptical, but will let you guys know if it works.

Oh gawd, I hope I don't start digging through my daughter's trash can. laugh out loud I used to hate it when she did that. She was a depression era child. Combine that with the Scottish ancestry and it 's amazing how far she could stretch a buck. Her frugal ways make me look like a spend thrift. What does Neekyme's user title say? Spending impaired? Yeah. I think I am in some ways ( I am a decent tipper, at least.) My mother was spending impaired in every way I can imagine.

I am already jealous of your 7-11's, Publix and Targets for as far as you can drive. Although, I suppose it has taught me to recycle a little better. I wonder how much the water costs that I use to rinse out every container before I put it in the recycler? laugh out loud

I like my area. It has all the stores I need within a 10 mile radius and plenty of them..but you know that after seeing them. Then the new area I found that's untouched by other SD'ers woot I heart the new area..tearpad heaven Cloud9

I had to recycle everything in Germany they are so strict about it over there. It's kind of nice to recycle because I know it's a good thing to do now...not because I have to.

I like to think I would recycle anyway now that we have the habit, but sadly I am not totally convinced we would keep it up. We still have ants in our cans. Mad
