This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Why did my post get deleted? Frown I just said that the post complaining about the poster was no better and and why can't we just discuss Target deals? Why do people get so worked up about chating on the Interent anyway, it is not like you will see or deal with these people in real life.

Also I seriously wanted to know how a poster can have rep points with no posts. Unless they did have a post that got reputation, before it was deleted? Ding Ding is that right?
Mine got deleted to too. I think Serra was just trying to clean up any reference to the post/rant. No worries.

Some deal threads are actually changed to chat threads. Peeps can rep but post count doesn't accrue.

Doc called today wants to see me at 2:30 Cold Hoping for good news. Everything ok with baby but early maternity leave.
Good luck hug Early maternity leave is nice though woot

I swear when I hit reply it said "sorry, this thread is closed!" Dontknow

I must have missed something. Have you found out about the liver enzymes? Early maternity leave may equal bed rest, so get the laptop ready, plop a pillow behind your back and we will keep you company!

Wave To the dedidated ON people, can you post here when the drop happens???? My sanity will be lost if I ventured into that thread. (Scratchhead did I ever got it back from the Deals thread?)

TIA
We can surely post here, but the problem is - these coupons go FAST. I mean, like faster than anything I've ever seen in my life. Probably faster than McLovin is in bed. I mean, lightning fast. It's amazing. By the time we posted here, they would be gone, I'm sure. I've only caught actually ONE coupon from the direct website, and that was because I was sitting in the ON thread here when the coupons went live - and it was a 50 off 100, I've never gotten a 75. The only few I've gotten since then, lovely SDers have shared with me. hug But I will definitely put the info here if I happen to be around when the q's go live again.

Quote from Sharon52680 :

If it happens while I am home I will certainly post here. Two weeks ago I got a coupon just by dumb luck. By the time I got the one and went back to get another they were all gone. Them ONW peeps are fast as lightning! Lightning
Exactly! Rofl2

Looks like an iceberg to me, too. Dontknow Anyone here see anything different?

Quote from SLickCate :
I finally went to Target last night, both of them.
Just got the usuals.

That's all. nod
Lol2

EEK! I missed excitement. Why do I always miss the excitement 'round here..?

T's had nothing but good cleaning deals for the past month. Didn't you use the tq on target brand cleaning supplies? There's a good clorox q floating around out there, and there was a softscrub bogo recently too.

Anybody buy that $49 pantry from Target? I know they had it on sale about three weeks ago, and I think it is on sale next week too. Curious on how well it is, since it is never on display, but it looks similar to one I saw at Walmart and for the price, wasn't too bad. Too much overstock, not enough pantry room, and I don't want to be too cheap and buy one of those garage plastic things for the kitchen.

I think its this one, but it comes in white too:

I don't know anyone that has it. Doesn't look like it would last a long time though. best thing for stockpiles IMO are metal shelving. It will hold up over time.

seems like I have stocked up on cleaning stuff lately.. but sadly, am not doing much cleaning.. I have tons of those soft scrub pad things, but wasn't overly impressed, so I wouldn't recommend them. Not sure if that clorox b2g1 printable is still in the printables thread, but I used that lots of times and am stocked on clorox wipes and other stuff.
It seems like that recent soft soap bogo is just expired, or about to expire.. might want to check on that..
I read some talk of clorox stuff in the weekly cvs thread as well, but don't know the details..

funny thing.. we went away for the weekend last week.. hubby forgot our toothbrushes.. I couldn't believe I had to stop and buy some when I have hundreds at home. Thankfully I wasted ecbs on them... then he went into this little convenience store on the way to the cabin and bought bleach cleaner. paid 3.00 for a tiny bottleEEK! I wanted to knock him out.. but it was a sweet thought. He knew I wouldn't bathe my DD in a tub until I bleached it thoroughly. I guess SD has spoiled me. I hate to PAY for anything!

I have one of these in my kitchen - to use as an actual pantry, because I don't have a pantry in my kitchen. EEK! It looks okay. It's a pretty good quality. The one I got is white, which I think looks a little nicer than the woodgrain finish.. you can REALLY tell the woodgrain finish is not real wood, whereas this one looks a little nicer with the white finish. It's pretty sturdy. The shelves are not real wide from front to back, however. It works fine for canned goods, boxed goods, etc. I have juice boxes on the bottom. They fit perfectly with one end against the back of the pantry and the other end facing the door - the door shuts just fine, if that helps with width of shelf.

P.S. If you're looking for something to hold a good bit of stockpiling, you would definitely need something bigger than this..
