This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

A blonde moment for me...

How special or great are those Pepsi coupons on the deals thread. I am on my last 12pk. I used Team Diet ones last time; buy 3 get 1. How are these different?
What is the yahoo.com group I am missing?

Thinking of doing a run after work tomorrow. I am guessing Target will close early because of the holiday.

Also. I think Sungoddess lives in Florida, not Wisconsin. I am not to sure where the aligators are living in WI. Not too many zoos have them either.

I'll miss you guys and hope you all have a wonderful and SAFE 4th of July!
Have fun!! Hope you don't suffer coupon withdrawal. If you do, just stop at gas stations along the way and collect tearpads Whee

A Double is considered a Full Size. The width is narrower.

Of course, you can get to $500 in gc's. If you don't spend them first. LMAO

I finally gave in and bought a new car that I'll be picking up today (actually, I talked them into delivering it to me!!) - Got a RAV4 - Going from a Lexus to a RAV isn't so much of a stretch, except for the luxury part LMAO . The RAV is super cute & economical and will be wonderful for the new shopping hobby that I'll be undertaking here pretty soon to replenish my bank account after paying for it!! It must earn its keep!!

Happy 4th everyone!!

I have a Rav4. I adore my Rav4. Smilie I wish it had a teensy bit more cargo space, but other than that - no complaints. It's ten years old, still running strong and still gets great gas mileage. Almost 200,000 miles on it. Hope you enjoy yours!
I have a RAV4 too! Mine is a V6 2007 that I bought in 2006. My only complaint is lack of leg room in the front seats.

A Double is the same size as a Full mattress - 54" x 75" (the same length as a Twin but wider)
A Queen is the next size up - 60" x 80" (the same length as a King but narrower)

WOW - that would be A LOT of gift cards! I dunno - in theory it is possible but I have never been anywhere near that amount! Good luck! What are you saving for?

I have not used any but I think they should work fine on even if you get three or more.

You can do it in less than a month, I have faith in you. I'm wondering if we can find their mattresses in a regular store to try them out first. I need to get DS a twin mattress eventually soon maybe never and have the same dilemma. I don't want to spend real money when don't have to but hard to buy something like that without trying it out. I'm one of those that will only buy the kid clothes at Target, don't see a need to go anywhere else. Unless it's under $3 and I'm out and about somewhere.

When he's older he'll have a say in clothes. For now, he wears what's cheap!

Wave Hi peeps!

On pins and needles over here waiting for my cousin (more like a sis) to have her baby any minute now! Of course, I'm stuck at work...and can't focus!!

Went to a brand new ST last night. They had these really cool futuristic looking shopping carts, they were all plastic, no metal and they drive as smooth as silk! Anyone else see these yet? Only ended up getting Eggos though. Store is too new to have any Jedi's and cashier selection was the major suck!

Got an envie from someone yesterday, not sure who....Thrifty maybe?? Well, THANKS to whoever it was!!

Hope everyone has a FUN and SAFE 4th!!

Darn it, Teri!! I wish I would have seen this sooner - the mailman picked up all of the Qs just a few minutes ago ... I would have sent some your way! If I find another tearpad, it's yours! They didn't expire until 12/09 so I'm guessing there might still be a few out there somewhere!

I'm so glad to see the wonderful reviews on the RAV! I did do quite a bit of research before I decided - I mean MONTHS of research! If my car didn't break down yet again (a month after being in and out of the shop for a whole month) I might still be researching! I bought used, an 08 with 15k miles and didn't get a V6 but did get the 4x4 with the larger wheels. It really drove very differently than the FWD with the 16" wheels. I also got the Platinum warranty since it's certified - this takes it bumper-to-bumper for the next 6 years (I only put about 10k miles on my car in a year so I won't reach the 100k mile mark before it runs out). I'm really excited.... I only wish I could have found a way to pay using GCs!! laugh out loud

Right but they have Serta online and we should be able to find the exact Serta mattresses at a local bedding store.

Agree on the clothes. I have one friend whose DH is unemployed but still keeps dressing her kid in fancy clothes. They grow out of them fast, get them dirty, etc and there is no reason to spend tons of $ on that crap. Especially in this job market with all the unknowns. Save it for food, college education, new car fund for when the kid goes to college. Certainly not on $16 gap jeans for a 3yo. Not my money, just annoying. Guess gap, etc wouldn't make $ if not for peeps like her though.

Speaking of getting clothes dirty, DS peed through his awful pull ups again today into his orange shorts. Must go wash them so he can wear them again. He is in love with the color orange. Have I mentioned I hate pull ups/easy ups? They all suck.

My mom has a RAV, and loves it! Great car.

Target is open tomorrow in case you are wondering. I just called. Didn't feel like going out and it's thundering here again.

Right. We just got back from the local zoo and saw a bunch of alligators. DD loves saying alligator. It's cute.

I know they really suck..I think even those gerber underpants would hold more pee than pull ups/ easy ups...We are using night time pullups..atleast they absorb more..

Have 2 runs planned out for tomm...then to Kmart for doubles on Sunday and free Starbucks...
