Thrifty, I thought you were looking for Curious George towels. I actually saw a cute Monkey towel today at Kmart. They are folded up hooded towels by Cannon Kids. They are ringing up $4 right now, so I'm holding out for 90%.

I did find a little po'dunk store that had the hefty blinkie!! I got 22 q's between 2 trips, and used 19 of them at WM! I wish I could figure out the little tool trick I've seen mentioned. I am not able to do it right, and I hate just stalking the darn box when that is the only thing I want at that particular store!

Hmm... other then maybe the Viva - the new list doesn't seem to exciting yet.
DH went into surgery at 6:45 pm.. Surgical nurse told me they are remodeling two of the O.R's so they do surgeries late on the other O.R's to keep up with their demand. I think it was 11:15 when the Dr came to chat with me. I imagine it didn't take all that time because he had his backpack slung over his shoulder and he appeared to be heading out the door. Good gracious. Can you blame him? His surgeries started at 7:00 am. He had another Doctor assisting him that was just as hunky as he could be. It took all I had to maintain proper hospital decorum and not ask him if he was married. I would love to introduce him to my DD.
The waiting room was a site to behold tonight. I walked in just in time to find a chair. After that it filled up pretty quickly. All from one family. 27 of 'em. Cousins, Aunties, Uncles and babies. One of the older family members had stomach cancer and a successful operation to remove it. After the surgery he was having severe complications and they did not know it he was going to pull through. It made my lip quiver to see such a strong family turn out for one person. That's one thing about locals, they really have strong family bonds,
The Doctor sounded pretty happy with the outcome of the surgery. Mr B was only semi conscious when I left at 12:45 am. I fed him some ice chips and held his hand for a bit. Then I had to head home to let the pup out.
It did my heart good to come home and see the mango jokes.
Kaneohe man electrocuted while picking avocados
A 48-year-old Kaneohe man was electrocuted yesterday morning while trying to pick avocados in a brush area near Windward Community College in Kaneohe, police said.
Police said the man was using a metal pole and hit an overhead electrical line, and was dead when emergency personnel arrived.
Police said the man was not supposed to be in that area.<~~~~This is the part where the man upstairs is telling me to pay attention.
Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said that when fire personnel arrived, the long metal pole was glowing at its base and was still touching the power line and the ground, but not touching the man.
Firefighters waited for Hawaiian Electric Co. workers, who turned off the power.
As far as candles go, I think if you keep the wick trimmed it cuts down on all that sooty stuff. My faves are McCall's candles. They throw scent really well and put Yankee candles to shame.
