When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I haven't seen them, but my bet would be on it being and 01. P&G tends to stay away from 00s and it isn't likely a 14.
Normally, I would think so, but the last set of bogo satincare and bogo gillette gel are 14's.

Ah well, if they are 01's, I'll skip them. My cashier's look like deers in headlights with beeps!

So I am going to have my first small garage sale tomorrow - I think I have just enough to go a few hours .... especially as no one ever comes down my road. I put up a notice on Craig's List & I am going to put up signs at the two nearest big roads and hope for the best! Wish me luck all Smilie
As you all proolly know I'm preggers w/ #5....I am in a huge nesting phase right now...downsized DDs Full size bed to Twin so she can share with her new to be baby sisiter then went crazy clean and organizing my house.

I have had a couple of small yard sales b4 and have not done very well with them, I decided the space all my YS stockpile is taking is better served with crap we could use so I decidied to go big....did craigslist got lots o signs, lots o tables, loaded up the minivan w/out seats and drove to the in-laws who areoff of the main street here in our small country town.

Had all my used yard sale junk put there, big bucket of baby boy clothes I wont be needing and all of my stockpiles.....ended up being out there long enough to get sunburn on my face and made bounce $453.75.bounce I'm very happy with that.....donated all the used crap then boxed up my stock pile which is now cut in half.....was going to bring all the H&B to the womens shelter but I have done so well Im thinking about refilling and getting out there every 4 weeks.....Big Grin

How did you end up doing? I had a lot of people expect a deal on top of the amazing deal I was already priced at but most of the times I didnt mind.

Hawaiiandawn, you own the air space and yard space over whatever fence or yard line there is. Put up a sign telling your neighbors to get their mango tree out of your yard space or you are going to keep whatever mangos there are.Big Grin (niece is a jurist.)

aahhhh, I haven't seen them. Sounds like I couldn't get them anyhow. With two howler monkeys following me around (aka, my children) we don't go "unnoticed" in the first place laugh out loud
Think of it this way.....Any good magician knows that distraction is a valuable too. People will look at the howlers and not you pilfering through the boxes. Teehee

Best of luck with your garage sale! I will be having one August 1st (my complex is doing a joint one then woot) and will be a real newbie at this selling stockpile stuff. My DH is happy since he's tired of looking at all of the stuff we have. Teehee I will need to read up on the garage sale thread to see what to price my stuff at. I hope you make lots of $$!:
If I can offer a bit if wisdom...."New" stuff always trumps other people's old stuff, that is for certain. But if someone has allotted themselves $50 in money to spend on yard sales that weekend, would you rather risk the possiblity of having to share your part of that pie with other neighbors? I debated this idea last year. The military base was having a post wide yard sale. You could rent space if you didn't live there. My wise friend told me her community did one of these and she didn't do as well as she would have liked. She was competing againster her neighbors for the "money pie." I decided to have mine a week before the post wide one and it was extremely successful. One of my CVS couponing friends did the post one and did just "ok."

And they take your license? Is there a limit to the price of the item? I have to return a stupid tv wall mount, got the wrong size and I can't find the receipt annnnnnnnnnywhere. I think it was $69.99.
IDK if you have been yet or not Sharon, but those wall mounts were marked way down here. Almost bought one. $25.

Thanks for the Pounce info too. Smilie

Good job! How did the used stuff sell versus the new stockpile stuff? I told Crazy that I never had much luck selling anything used once people started looking at the stockpile stuff. But yours is baby stuff. So I am curious.

It is actually COOL here today. It's beautiful. It's like we had July in June, and now that it's July we're having June...

Anyway, I had a great run. A somewhat confused cashier though, but I know how to make quick exits Stick Out Tongue

Teehee A friend and I both put together "several" lists and coupon sets last night and met at our first store at 8:00am. We allowed an hour for shopping and travel between each store and we stayed focused. The only change-ups we made in our lists along the way were to be able to pick up something at the next store that we saw at the previous store on sale or whatever. It was pretty organized and we didn't carry all of our other Qs with us so we weren't sidetracked. It worked out very, very nicely! Averaged a little over $200 or so savings at each store x4, so not bad! I actually ran out of room in my new RAV - I knew I should have gotten the Navigator!! LOL!

The filthy KM is the Lombard store. Gross-O-Rama! vomit

Funny you should mention that. I have tried to perfect the art of slyly taklng random folks pictures when they make major fashion faux pas. I am not very good at it. I have tried to think of a way to get this guy's mug on my phone covertly. I can't think of one. Annoyed

It sounds like you guys were well prepared. I miss my old T days with Secret Sinner. We weren't organized by any stretch of the imagination but we did hit several stores, had a good time and filled up her SUV, too. Good times. laugh out loud

My used stuff was full sized linens, baby clothes, a mini shop vac, an air blower from a bounce house my kidlets tore up, coolers, 36 napkin holders from my DH's restaurant, weird things but it almost all sold....still have 1/2 bucket of baby clothes, but they were winter things anyway so maybe they will sell if I do another sale in August/Sept.

It did seem like the peeps were either 'new' buyers or 'used' buyers....not many crossed over and bought some new, some used !?! But I am still super happy with the outcome....to the point that i have put the remaining things back in my shed for 'next time' instead of driving them over to the shelter like I should do.
