This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

hello eveyone- I just posted this on the albertson/qfc thread- it's a great deal.

I just got back from QFC/kroger and there is an awesome Energy drink deal-
Buy 10 AMP's for 10.00 and then a catalina prints for a 10.00 grocery gift card-- I went back and got the 10.00 gift card then used that to pay and got another 10.00 cat for a gift card! I plan to do this deal alot!
I also got 10 smartwaters at QFC for 10.00- then the instant 5.00 savings then used 5 1.00/2 coupons- free.
oh- i guess you can do this deal at fred meyer too- I have not tried it there yet.

Also- here is the pre-view for smartsouce-

This is a Kroger deal, so should be happening at Ralphs for you.

No, I was just clearing it up...don't want false info to be out there! People think liver damage and think of people who drink large quanties but that's absolutely not true.

So my DH lost his job yesterday. EEK! They are closing his location completely, gave him til the end of the week. So saving money is now a requirement, not just a hobby! This happened to us 3 years ago right before we had DS2 and he says he's more worried now. But he's like "we didn't have all this free stuff and we still had 2 kids so I don't know why I'm more worried". I guess it's SuperMofo to the rescue! Superman
But seriously, I just hope he finds something soon. Last time it was 5 weeks. I was home on maternity leave so it was nice to have him around. But this was before the economy flushed itself down the toilet.
hug I'm so sorry to hear this. Sending positive thoughts your way that he finds something soon!!

-----------------------------------

More labs yesterday...liver enzymes are still climbing Sadwalk All other labs are coming back in the normal range. I am very Confused3 on this one!

ALT (ALANINE AMINOTRANSFERASE)
Should be between 14-54.
6/10/09 it came back 86
6/18/09 it came back 118
6/30/09 it came back 140
7/14/09 it came back 310

AST (ASPARTATE AMINOTRANSFERASE)
Should be <31
6/10/09 it came back 49
6/18/09 it came back 59
6/30/09 it came back 73
7/14/09 it came back 153

Increases in these numbers indicate liver damage.
Most importantly is What Is the Doctor saying about this?

I'm gonna bite my tongue on the kool aid remarks (I know you dont' abuse it) hug

I could freaking use the kool aid right about now. I saw the high risk doc on June 30 at that time he was not overly concerned with the numbers (mind you I had 2 sets of labs done and the #'s were low at that point in time). We ran more tests. Given those increased results we spoke on the phone and he wanted to run the tests again yesterday. I have not heard from him yet. I have an email into him and hope to hear from him today or tomorrow.

I gave him my cold...so I promised to take care of him tonight. He texted me that he *thinks* he ODed on Robi. I sent him with a new bottle this morning. If he chugged it I will be sooooo pissed. Can you imagine what that is doing to HIS liver? Teehee

Wishing everyone positive outcomes: good new jobs, healthy livers and babies and great deals. And congrats on a new healthy baby! You are so supportive of each other, it is really great to hang out here.

I don't have anything to add, I have had sciatica and it is literally a PITA and thigh and calf. Don't need the sympathy vote, have meds that are working and getting better everyday... Ready to be 100% again though. I did hobble through Target Saturday afternoon to pick up a prescription refill transfer and some things that we needed. My mom can't believe I let my husband push me thru HEB in one of the kid carts last week (of course at first she thought one of the little cars...). Hey it worked, but there was not much room for my old lady bottom. If your kids tell you those carts are scrunchy, they are not exaggerating.

If you have not ventured out of the Target thread today, there are some pretty good magazine deals on the front page now.
