This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Found the phone!

Yes, found a neighbor that keep calling me, my cell phone count was 14 missed calls. I am so happy Smilie

Also Sun what about those freezer pops too. Just instead she just wants to suck on the outside.

I am a little jealous about babies sleeping though the night. Congrats to SB. I don't think either slept through the night until they were over a year. I just thought at that time that is the way it is for breastfeeding moms.
Glad you found your phone!!

Mine didn't sleep through the night either. DS was in the preemie unit for 4 months and had his days and nights mixed up something awful. We brought him home on oxygen and an apnea monitor. One night a lead came loose and the alarm went off. Scared us silly. From then on, I couldn't sleep whether he did or not.

DD had the worst colic ever. Anyone with a colicky baby knows how that story plays out laugh out loud

My DD was colicky, too, so I know how that goes.
Hope things get better for you. The girl you talked about being missing (at least I think it was the same one) was searched for here today with no good results from what I heard on the news Sadwalk

Confused I think you are talking about the young girl from NY that disappeared in Myrtle Beach. She was the one that her parents said she couldn't go to Myrtle Beach, but she did anyway and hasn't been seen since. Last I heard, they picked up a hit on her cell phone from the Georgetown area but it didn't pan out either.

It's been a little confusing because another young girl from NY drowned here a couple of weeks ago.

Did everyone see the next doubles for Kmart is coming up again. Oh this would be great. August 16-22. Hopefully Target isn't going to be calling me there too.
Whoo! I totally missed out on last doubles...grrr. Will be checking this one out. Are the 'rules' the same (10 coupon limit, etc.)?

hug The Motrin/Tylenol alternating strategy usually works wonders for us. Hope her fever goes down soon.
Thanks, Tootsie! I am hoping this works... Gave her the Motrin and will be giving her the Tylenol after the 2-3 hour mark. She just feels so hot! :worried:

Sungoddesss, maybe a popsicle will help bring it down with a cool washcloth here and there. I also agree with alternating meds. Works wonders for us

Found some of the Playtex cups today! woot

*snip*
Great idea! I don't have any popsicles but will def pick some up tomorrow. nod I did the washcloth thing but DD was fussing at me too much for it to work.

Found the Playtex cups too while on break from work! woot Wanted some girly ones, but all they had was the truck/sports ones. I was glad anyway.

I LOVE this advice Wink I might use it for myself! After experiencing the wrath of my dd yesterday, the doc offered condolences on my 'wild child' and suggested melatonin for bedtime Shocking At least I'm not the only one that sees it...

DW found the cups---sort of---at our local store (the one I haven't been into for almost a year).

The TM entered the DCPI and confirmed they were in the back, but wouldn't get her any, saying that if there was no place for them on the shelves, they couldn't sell them.

See why I don't go in there any more? (actually it's another reason, but this is just an example of the asshattery that goes on there)

sorry to hear about the sick kiddos. Mine ran a fever last week for 2 days.. no other symptoms, and it just went away. Some kind of virus I assume. I honestly don't even know how high it was. She fights when you check her temp and it wasn't worth it, so we just gave some tylenol and forced fluids. It does make you feel bad when they are sick though.

I went on a road trip today. went to see hubby at work and visit some new targets. First time I have been to one of the targets in a mall area. I have a ton of qs to use before the end of the month and needed some new places to go. Had 2 really good runs. Best thing I noticed was that these targets had more stock on alot of things. These were regular targets, not ST, so the grocery stock was smaller, but other things were better stocked, including baby stuff. Prices were higher though. Anyway, I scored a few packs of the platex cups. There were none on the shelf at either store, but I asked at the second store and she got some from the back. Seems to be more boys than girls. I only found one girl pack. I didn't realize that she gave me one pack that was different and rang up for 6.60.. noticed on the receipt when I left.. Those will be going back.
These stores also had more razor stock. Did the razor deal 7 times today. Also finally found several of the peelies I always see people mention, but we never seem to get at out target.. Found the free glade peelies TQ, 2.00 glade odor TQ, a bunch of the hanes peelies .50 and 1.00, .50 TQ wyb pampers/wipes (which is really lame, IMO), and the disney 10.00 peelies- only found 2 of those but hope to find more since they don't expire until 2010Big Grin ..and a few pantene peelies as well.
Pantene and h/s both worked well with trial size for me. overall a good day!

Just wanted to say I looked at 3 different stores the last 2 days and no one had them on the shelf.. Had to get them from the back. so, checking the dcpi is the way to go.

Wish someone would have told me that years ago laugh out loud Nothing worked, except one night we were in the car and she was of course, screaming, and we went over some railroad tracks and she stopped screaming. My first thought was to put the car in reverse and just keep going over the tracks. Can you picture it? laugh out loud
