This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

[QUOTE=bblueskye;21628299]Wags does refer to walgreens. You'll notice a lot of shorthand around here laugh out loud

This is the T thread, but since it's a chat thread, we cover a lot of topics in here in addition to target stuff (poop, pee, tats, piercings, kids, DHs, etc, etc, etc). A better description of the thread would be a group of folks that shop at target a lot but talk about anything and everything. One good thing about this thread is that, between everyone here, there is usually someone who is an expert at the store that you have a question about. Sometimes it's easier to ask a question in here with our "peeps" than to risk the wrath of others on a given thread. And often times if there is a great deal at another store, we'll mention it here just in case someone wants to get in on it, but doesn't normally "do" that store.

HTH[/QUOTE

Thanks for the info. I hope I didn't come across as complaining about talking off the thread subject - I actually got some of the stamps at "wags" as you peeps here call it yesterday thanks to the off topic on this thread. I was just trying to understand the thread. I think I like it here Smilie

I think it's dead unless someone was able to get a raincheck before the price changed in the system. A few people have reported being able to get a store to sell the cups at $1.87 IF the shelf tag stated that price.

Gotta go, someone posted toy markdowns in Hot Deals. LMAO

i decided to go for it and ran to the closest target. TONS of 75% stuff, and it looked like none of it had moved since yesterday! Got all the thomas stuff they had and am now about 1/2 thru christmas for the boys! I am so so happy! I actually happened to find the wooden set i bought yesterday for almost $40 today for 12 so I picked it up and gonna return the other with the first reciept this weekend! I got 2 different bridge sets, a geo trax set, a mickey snow cone set, the moon sand, and 2 more thomas sets...plus some of the leap frog puzzles and a universal remote all for $60! Plus once I return the wooden figure 8 set my total will drop to $30! YAY! I am stoked!

There was one leapseter yesterday and it was gone today. That was it though. Gonna try and sell some of the kids old toys on CL tonight to get some more $$ to go back tomorrow...

I am so glad I decided to go! I am a single mom as most of yall know, so this will really help come christmas

oh and my username change finally took place so this is my new name

I had picked up one toy for 90% (summer clearance) at one store and *ass*umed it would be that price at the other store so I had to return it after I noticed it was full price. This was a great thing though since the customer in front of me had just returned two of those large metal beverage tubs woot The lady at the CS counter told me they were only 1.89 and asked if wanted them. Heck yeah! laugh out loud

Major score was the Leap Didj system that was 75% off. 17.48-$10 MQ so 7.48!! It's the limited edition pinkish color one. It was marked down in only 1 of my stores. The other stores, it was sitting on the shelf with the gray one. Games were marked down to 7.48, so 1.48 after MQ Dance14 That kind of made my day Teehee that, and the Pantene Evil

I actually bought the bee, sheep, pig, and one other one today for my boys. We just started watching the show and the boys like it. There were still a few more left at my store and I'm going back tomorrow Evil If they are still there, I'll pick up what I can find and let you know.

Our store was being demolished by toy grabbers even as late as 3pm. After 5, all the ones who were stuck at work come in after hearing about the sale all day laugh out loud

Thanks so much. Between 4 stores, I was able to get the cat, pig, fish, cow, sheep, tiger, zebra, and lion. My boys probably don't need all of them, but they are so stinkin' cute! And educational! Smilie

This was my first July toy event as a slick dealer. Last July I had just given birth to DS #2. It was quite an experience! I ventured a little out of my territory and really liked what some of the stores had to offer. My little Target doesn't have much. shake head

Thanks again for your help!

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but I got the cutest 3D monster puppet today at Target. Just couldn't leave that little guy there! LMAO It was like $3.98 I think.

Don't forget, there are lots of people (like me) who buy stuff hoping to get it cheaper later and will then return. So toys that weren't there today may show up tomorrow. At least that's what I'm hoping b/c I'm going to a different store tomorrow! laugh out loud
