This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Hope all goes well! How have you been feeling?
It is amazing what early maternity leave can do for someone fighting an illness. My cough is probably 85% better. I am exhausted but that is par for the course...at least I am not dead to the world like I was when I was working.

I go back in for more blood work on Tues to see where my liver enzymes are now. Last labs they were coming down slightly. The ultrasound on my liver, spleen, kidneys came back good. Liver is slightly enlarged but nothing to be concerned about at all.

Yeah... thought of that - or that we'll feed the dumb stray that hangs around, but I don't want to say it if I don't actually plan on doing it! Kids... *sigh*
14 yo DD used to ask when she was 12 and I learned to put something in the cart for her and point to it when she asked a stoopy question like that. She leaerned very quickly to stop asking. Now she just likes when I shop on my own and surprise her with her overage gift. It is amazing how $3.xx CG eyeliner Rock her world. Teehee

Ok I need to clean out the desk in the office today. DH is breaking it down and setting up the crib. I need to make it to the 2 ST's up north. Methinks I can find a box and toss all of the contents in there and go through it later. Teehee Yes, I am an addict.

Oh I did a coupon run last night. First in about 3 weeks, 2nd in over 6. LIke riding a bike my friends, like riding a bike. Doh Whee Oh and who was it that posted about the Hasbro TQ a couple weeks ago. I love them forever!

Ok so I picked up a $50 SW GC at K (failed run so I paid full price for it) as we were going to pick up a $99 one way ticket for Mini. Well, the tickets are now $151 and I would have to pay $50 UM on top of that. Found tickets through United for much cheaper. Can I return the GC with receipt or am I farked?

Edit: Oh and I cleaned out the office desk...amazing how quickly the job goes when you have a box to dump all the crap into. Teehee DH & my idea of nesting are a bit different. Mine = shopping, his = cleaning house.

Man, that f***ing sucks! hug I always leave my coupon binder under my carseat, but my car is a total trash heep. DH is always yelling at me to clean it out because it attracts unwanted attention.
I know, I never really worried too much about someone breaking into my car, I mean who breaks into a hoopdy? (however you spell it!) I just can't bring myself to have a car payment, less shopping money!

And to everyone and their offers to send me qs, Thanks so much!!! I didn't even go to T all this week until toys yesterday because I was so down! I luckily had a few qs in my purse that I had ready to use (my schick, H&S, and pantene) that I could use yesterday, or I'da been up sh!t creek w/o a paddle (or qs in this case)!! hug heart hug heart hug

It's worth a try, the worst they can do is say no, kwim? Maybe just say you meant to grab some other GC and got that one by mistake...and in the meantime you sent DH out to get the correct GC so now you would just like a refund. Good luck!

Bigeye So I'm sitting in my cubicle and just got off the phone with my BFF talking about a Target run and heard someone in the office mutter, "stay the fark away from my toy clearance." Cold She must be an SD'er cuz I've heard they are ruthless. Teehee

Heading to K to see what I can do. Even if I can turn it into $50 K GC I would be happy.

starkist Q:

on OGD, there are two different Starkist Qs...which is best for the cans that are $1 this week? Confused

Starkist product, 11-oz. or larger - $0.50/1

Starkist, 11-oz. or larger - $1/2

Sitting in the parking lot of K.

Son of a motherless goat. The CS guy said GC's are non refundable and told me to contact SW. I said no where on the card does it say non refundable and if it did I would not have purchased it. He again referred me to SW. So, long story short I am farked! I'll call SW and request a refund or demand the $99 fare. Dammit Janet!

Called Kmart customer service and the rep told me he was looking at their GC return policy and that they do not allow returns. I laugh out louded and said that is funny, no where on the receipt where the return/exchange policy is spelled out does it address GC's also, no where on the GC does it state non-refundable. Have a call into SW to see what I can do. I am crossing my fingers that they will at least honor the $99 flight...doubtful but worth a try. This is the suck and a painful lesson learned!
