Exactly BF~ Matt's parents actually favor Ryland. Matt is an only child, so until we came along, there hadn't been pitter patter around for 20 something years. The oldest boys always had other family and friends they would go with so it was usually just Ryland on the weekends when we would go visit. Now they have a granddaughter and still favor Ryland. It warms my heart to no end that they have a special bond. heart

Although he will soon legally be their grandchild when the adoption is finished. Even though the courts are backed up so it wont be until December Frown

Even funnier story..My Daddy was being a sour grump last night at the baseb
all game he took the kids to. Our mascot is a dog. So the mascot, Charlie comes up and pretends to pee on my dad and then gives him a sticker that says "Mine" LMAO

Wow, some idiot posted a $5 off $50 TQ in Hot Deals. Looks like a scan. Wonder why the mods haven't taken it down yet? All we need is for a bunch of asshats to go in a use it over and over before we have another toy coupon on our hands...

I hate when grandparents show favoritism.. I see it all the time. My husband's brother was the baby in the family and always the favorite. His grades were better, more musically talented, chose better girlfriends, etc. I know it had to hurt DH feelings,although he denied it. Now 6 months after we had our fourth child, his brother and wife had their first. Since then, my kids get zero attention. When both babies were very little, they always nade comments about him. I know my baby doesn't understand yet, but she will. My older kids comment on it all the time. My FIL never wanted to even hold my daughter when she was born cause he claimed he was scared to hold them when they were little. But we have pics of him with my nephew the day he was born. They are always going to see him, and staying over to babysit. They have never watched my DD or offered. It really hurts me for her because I think she deserves the same love and attention from her grandparents! But they are the ones who will suffer in the end. The grandparents will miss the opportunity to spend time with great kids. It already had backfired on them some. When we get together with the whole family, they seem to be bothered that my daughter won't go to them. I told them she doesn't know them cause she doesn't see them Frown

I made the mistake of trying a kmart trip today. Didn't get much.. they finally restocked the trio toys.. got 4 of those, a couple of tag books, and a leapster game. I found a few of the 5/50 qs at the door. Got turned down on using it cause my pretax was only 49.xx.. no problem, I used the 5/25 toy q.. then she refused all my other qs for the FP stuff and the LF toys. said they couldn't take printables. She called the manager and she confirmed they only take printed coupons with the "kmart logo". I abandoned the cart at checkout..

Only positive note was this run down kmart had shiny new buggies.. not the old rusty ones they used to have. Wasted an hour of my day for nothingFrown

4Busy, I would not put up with that BS from the grandparents. While you don't want your older kids to feel like they are being punished, it's ridiculous for the GPs to consistently leave out Ryland. I would talk to your older kids so they understand what's going on and then inform the GPs that they can't consistently leave out 1 child. shake head Not right at all.

So I had a nice trip to T last night, thanks to all the fabulous peeps on this thread who sent me Qs!!! hug to you all. Lots of unexpected beeps, but all but 1 were caused by unmarked TPCs. Starkist tuna creations are TPCd to 1.33; makes them 1.00 with the TQ. Nice price but did not go as well w/my 1.50 Qs. Kashi meals 2.88.

For you Publix peeps, I found Method Everyday Granite wipes clearanced to 1.98. Very nice with the $2/1 Qs. Smilie

CWS trials clearanced here too. I think I'm the only one who's been buying them. laugh out loud

Got 2 Earth's Best teething biscuites (1.58 - .75 TQ) + 4 baby foods. K1d. 2 Gerber bottles + 1 Graduates bowl + 1 Graduates sippy cup (ahhhh sippy cup!!!). K1d on the bottles.
