This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Speaking of family reunions, this was taken from the red forum where there was family discussion:

hey not sure if anyone saw the new News To Use or not but this issue is being fixed with an update coming out this fall. Along with a new system that will tell the LOD when you are 15 mins from going over your 6 hour mark and when you are 15 mins past your time to leave. So first we cant clock in early and now I will have them breathing down my throat if Im a few mins late getting my push finished grr. anyways just thought I would tell you about the coupon update to the system thats coming.

Frown so hard to watch our kids go thru these things, sorry mofo.

Still remember the 1st day of K for my now 18 y/o ds- came home crying cuz some kid told him he had girls shoes on (wtf it was Catholic school- not much choices). so I told him to tell the kid to blow it out his ass (ya, raised this 1 so differently than the older kids LMAO). had some friends over the next night and he told them about how this kid made fun of his shoes but his mom said it was OK "to blow his ass off" EEK!
Roll That is too funny!

My parents lived next door to a hoarder. These are just some of the pics of her house after she died. We helped to clean it out and I could not believe all the stuff. Some of the canned goods were over 20 years old.EEK!

THIS is exactly why I woke up at 5:30 this morning and cleaned out my pantry!! I have 2 totes full of canned and dry goods to donate to a food pantry but can you believe that my local food pantry is NOT open on Saturdays, at all??? I usually just give the stuff to the Boy Scounts when they do their food drive so I never knew the hours of the food pantry but apparently you can only drop off during regular business hours, 8:30 am to 5pm, M-F. Um, doesn't that make it impossible for people that might be able to afford to donate (ie: working people) to actually donate? I'm having serious issues with this Mad.

Meanwhile, I have 2 totes full of food that I'm debating throwing out! I won't or I'd have done it already - but I'm pretty pissed that I couldn't take this somewhere on a Saturday morning. Ok, enough ranting....

Yes, hoarding (to that degree) is not. good. Clutter actually makes me feel stressed out - anyone else?

I have some coupons for you. Maybe I can drop them off to you, and pick up your canned goods and bring them to the food panty for you. I am a SAHM so no problems with the hours. Which one were you planning on donating to? There are several in our area. Let me know what ya think.

I wonder if it's the show I'm thinking of where there was an episode of an older woman that hoarded food. She had so much expired food (the fridge/freezer was horrifying!!) it was nuts! She still wanted to keep the food and eat them even when they were expired by a few years. Even stuff that was in the fridge. There was a thick layer of meat juices at the bottom of her veggie drawers in the fridge. vomit Some of the helpers could not be in the same room cause it smelled so bad. It was pretty sad.

Oh yeah! She also had a pumpkin that was molded and soft and leaking all over her wood floors and she was so sad to see it go that she grabbed some of the pumpkin seeds (with her bare hands) buried in the icky mess. Cold

I saw that episode when it first aired, a few weeks ago. I literally felt sick as I was watching that rotted food. It's sad to watch these people. I've only seen one person that truly appeared to have been cured at the end of their treatment. I think his story was aired on this same episode. He welcomed the cleaning, and hopefully will not go back to his old ways. His bathroom was disgunting!
