This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I went to WIC today to sign up for it & thru the process was told the funniest thing I have ever heard.

1st you have to see me to understand...pre-preggers I am 5'9'' and 111lbs, if you picture Olive Oil from the Popeye Cartoons, that is me. I am bean pole skinny - have been my whole life.

Now they did my weight and height and iron levels etcs, went in to see the Nutritionist and she 'charted' me on the graph for pregnancies. She told me.........

"Hum, You are a bit OVERWEIGHT"

I never, in my whole life, ever, thought someone would tell me that.... She claims technically that for my height, prepreg weight and gestation that I am 6 pounds overweight. Granted I am at 147.8lbs now and I am 33 weeks today, that is a gain of 36 pounds - more than a pound a week!

Me now at 33 weeks & overweight laugh out loud ...

Some of the weight has gone to some places it has never been before like my boobs (that black shirt doesn't do them justice), butt and hips which I've never had, so it's not a totally bad thing Stick Out Tongue laugh out loud

laugh out loud She must have left her glasses at home OMG 5'9" 148 lbs or better is the ideal weight for that height.

You are skinnyGirly My DD is 5' 10" and she was a rail when she weighed 110 after back surgery. No fat whatsoever anywhere.shake head

That my friend is the difference between being a greedy hoarder and an asshat. laugh out loud Greedy hoarders want to make sure that they can continue to be greedy and hoard for years to come, asshats just don't care.
Looks like there is some asshattery in the deals thread with posting S&G runs with the schick Qs. I just hope nobody tries to use 22 like TQs in a run in one of my stores.

I never realized how stressful school really was until my dd started Shocking. With ds, it was a cake walk. Having that kid first did not prepare me for anything laugh out loud

good luck to all dealing with school issues. Fingers crossed, but so far, so good with dd and her new ESE Pre-k class. It's actually been fantastic. The teacher is a couponer/Target-clearance-shopper so I have a great place to share my stockpile. She was so excited by my last haul I shared with the class. I'm taking a stack of Trios tomorrow. The early sets will be great for little hands for hand/eye coordination without the tiny pieces like Legos nod
Thanks! He freaked out again tonight, told me he doesn't want to go back to school, that he wants to "get big scissors and cut the school down, etc." This after we offered up a reward chart for consecutive days in a row of not freaking out at school. I sure hope things go better tomorrow with Daddy.

I had a cashier who "just wanted to make sure she could take all my coupons" and called over some kind of manager tonight. Annoyed All was fine in the end, just took forever!
The Hillshire Farms lunch meat is back to normal price (was $2.99 last week $3.04 this week nice sale!). I didn't realize there was a $1 printable tq for this! And I mentioned the other day I found $3/2 mq peelies so now they won't beep! Someone also sent me a q's for free Sara Lee bread wyb 2 Hillshire Farms! woot Can't beat that!
The Palmolive Pure and Clear was TPC for $2.75, there are TQ peelies for those that I found on Ziploc awhile ago (specifically for the P&C). I bought some for the TMF rebate in this week's paper.
If anyone can use a $10 off Flip Ultra camcorder wyb 2 nutrigrain bars or poptarts TQ, let me know. Does anyone know if the 75 tq beeps for the Nutrigrain bars?
Loving that the big size of Chef Michael is $9.49 this week! Wink2

You are a lucky ducky with that careseat! You can return it and it will just be a credit on your CC statement next month. Have you thought about selling it on craigslist though? You could probably get at least $190-$200 for it. I know some areas don't do well with CL, but if you can re-sell it, you could end up recovering extra $$ that would make the seat you got today almost free Big Grin
I know! Thanks. hug I may take a look at CL...

Quote from tootsie67 :
They usually refund by the original method of purchase, so the $$ would go back on a CC. You may can ask for a refund via GC? Nothing wrong with having a credit balance...I usually do away with it pretty quickly during a good shoe sale Coverlaugh
True, a credit balance will go quickly! Thanks for your reply. hug

At least these are the insert Qs, which state 1 per purchase, not 1 per transaction like the online Qs.

Oops, I meant the 50 one. Thanks!

I'm wondering if any of you are still finding 4 packs of Vitamin Water at your stores? Mine used to carry them and today I tried to get some and they were gone. I also found some $1/4 packs of Vitamin water peelies at Kmart.

Totally butting in, so ignore me if I annoy you, but could it be that he just isn't ready yet?

May I just say, SBH, that the lil' guy is one of the top ten cutest babies I think I have ever seen! He certainly ranks no higher than fourth, however...

Oh, and .teri., I found Sparky II. Luckily I only had one kid with me and he was passed out on my shoulder. Dh thinks Sparky II got into some exterminator poison spray residue under the appliances cause he was belly up and running his little leggies like he was on a four pedaled bicycle. I was so freaked out I called my DH screaming and then had to call my MIL to come 'assist' Sparky II to the other side. eww...yuck, no more small pets for a while.
RIP Sparky II...
