When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! Mofo great to hear of ur good run. I wonder if the cashier was scanning the wrong side of the barcode on the coupon even if they used the hand scanner.

Even better news on your son. It takes a bit of time but he's acclimating!

Nap was only an hour long and we screamed and fussed while we fed and got dressed. I left my coupons at home. My strategy to maybe get iut of the house later. BTW baby actually slept on the car ride over. Normally he screams his head off!
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a barcode thing b/c she did get that message a couple of times (scan left barcode only) and I even covered up the right one for her on a couple (always trying to be helpful Teehee ). I'll try this store again tomorrow probably and report back.

Wait - who is publicity-stunt-beard-guy in Parenthood??? I didn't even know he was in that movie! LOL

My five year old locked the keys & spare keys in my mini-van when he was about 3 1/2 I think .... he only did it once ... but that sucked ... I think it was $70 or $75 bucks here for the key man to come. Maybe that is standard rate????

Oh my goodness - we aren't even at 2 1/2 yet and Miss M is - I kid you not - the most dictator-like destructive force ever ... she is also the one (first one of my children) who gets so angry she will hold her breath turn PURPLE and pass-out NOT breathing ... once she actually loses consciousness her body automatically takes over and makes her breathe but let me tell you the first time she did this at about 4 months I thought she was having a seizure and panicked. The do reassured me that nope she will breathe again - and she does! Of course, I think passing out should be a reset button so she wakes up cheery ... but no she remembers she is mad! She has colored everywhere there is to color AND more --- she has ripped/broken too many things to count. We better never get them together or there just might be a cosmic shift!!! LOL

He is the 'porn kid', and I'm glad I'm not the only one with a Monster Child, the wierd thing is that he is complettely a different kid while his bros and sis are in school all day. He loves all over me, hugging and kissing and telling me how he adores me tthen the sibs get home and now it's "after midnight and I've made the mistake of feeding him" WATCH OUT!

I'm off to Kohls & T & K & Wags x2 & CVS by myself! hoping o find some $2 Tags and bike trailer........wish me luck!

Social worker said exact same thing about day after Labor Day, so we will just continue with what's been working and eventually work toward a transition to me taking him to school.

Football season starts...as much as I like some football, I h8 how it takes over our weekends! And how DH yells at the TV! I had to "buy" him a floor pillow at Target for the basement because I've told him he's no longer welcome to watch football in the living room! laugh out loud

If anyone got the $1/2 Hefty One-Zip and are not using them (some just want the $1/1) let me know if I can trade you for them. I have a store that doubles where I could use them.

Signed - TIA laugh out loud

Brought over from the Deals thread since I have OT questions Smilie

Quote from mama2cole :
I agree about it not being a great TFT gift. But, for those of you who have already bought it and plan to donate, the Ozzie and Mac book that is included comes preloaded on the reader pen thing. Also, they take AAA batteries so you might want to throw them in.
Thanks for the idea and input!!! I bought one for Sophia last xmas, but haven't given it to her yet (she will get it for her 3rd bday next month) so I was unaware about how it all works.
Quote from stelly02 :
My donation plan for these is to buy 3 of the clearanced books, add the batteries to the pen and pre-load all 4 books onto the pen, then just re-package (there are only 2 small tape circles to seal the box). That way the kid gets 4 tag books and the pen pre-loaded-no computer needed!. I think a kid will love this, mine do.
Thats a great idea!! heart
Quote from arelf27 :
Hmm.. so if you don't pre-load the books you can't read them? Because I kind of thought you could do either - pre-load or just read one at a time as long as you have the book..
Does anyone know if this is true????
