This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

wave Hey there ladies. Smilie Ugh, tried to find a second tag reader so my kids wouldn't have to share but no luck. Supposedly there are pink ones at another store, but then I realized it was the nazi "no printables" store. Will try anyway, or possibly get another store to post-sale coupon. Sigh. Might drive up to search for the books, I live pretty far from Kmartland though.
If the evil LOD won't take your IP, buy the TAG and do a missed coupon at your friendly store.

Also, I saw that Lunchables were on sale this week for $1.25 --- I believe there are $1 off lunchables packs out there from the inserts a couple of weeks back. I would think .25 would be a good price .... I wonder if they would lose their integrity if frozen? Anyone know?
That coupon is for the lunchables that comes with water. Just sayin....

I don't think they would freeze very well since there are crackers in them.

Hmm, all of you complaining about me, I never once got a PM explaining where the coupons went and why. That's all I was asking. Different people tried to be helpful and explain it and it took a while to get the answer. Is it really that big of a deal? Get a life!
You didn't need a PM explaining where they went. KMA posted two posts after you saying they were most likely in the retired paperclip which crazy4vs then verified. And voila, there they were.

It's a big deal when there are 40 posts to a page, and only one post is a deal. Between where the q's went and should I call CS because an item isn't in the store when the inventory tracker says it should be....it very nauseating reading deals anymore

I checked the retired thread when that poster said that. They were not there. I even spoke to KMA via PM several times and she really didn't know. She wasn't really sure.

I agree, but it's just sad that I posted one question and get hammered. How many post where there about the DCPI number for the tags and where the coupons were and what about the darn sippy cups?!! I do all my research before posting questions and try not to restate things that were said before. Maybe there isn't many deals right now going on at T. Not my fault no one hasn't posted any deals. I guess I need to create a deal so that I can post.

My Pounce coupons worked fine but my Alpo didn't. Don't know why...

Also, I have some Xbox Live points I am going to trade. Do I post that in the coupon trading thread?

Depends on what you are looking for. Consumer Reports reviewed both canisters and uprights.

CR Best Buy are for those models offer the best combination of performance AND price and all CR Best Buys are recommended.

Recommended Uprights:
Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary Edition (U6485-900)
Hoover Platinum Bagged (UH30010C0M)
Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary Edition Bagged (U5491-900)
Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary Edition Bagless (U5786-900)
Dirt Devil Featherlite Bagless M085845
Bissell Momentum 82G71

CR Best Buys - Uprights:
Kenmore Progressive 35922
Kenmore Progressive 36932
Eureka Boss Smart Vac 4870

Recommended Canister:
Kenmore Intuitition 28014

CR Best Buys - Canisters:
Kenmore Progressive 27514
Hoover WindTunnel S3670
Hoover WindTunnel Bagless S3765-040

To me it is rather interesting that they recommend Hoover which, according to one graph, has been almost the least reliable vacuum from 2004-2008.

No one at CR is a SD'er either, so I guess you take their prices with a grain of salt.

SIL wants a vacuum for Christmas. She wants an upright, but they are better for carpets (according to the article) and she just spent a lot of effort pulling up carpet in all but 2 bedrooms in her house.

I believe that the 4,567,347 requests for the same DCPI were ALSO commented upon and if those had nothing to do with you then I would say that it was not you who was singled out and "hammered" it was a comment directed at the general direction of the discussions on the deal thread! BTW - The plethora of sippy cup posts also drew negative response ---

Deals thread and S&G thread Head Bang Head Bang

People seem to have no humility anymore. It's all about entitlement. I'm entitled to wipe out entire stocks, if I buy 1,000 coupons I'm entitled to use
them how I want when I want, I'm entitled to call corporate because
I can't have what I want, when I want. I'm angry if the wiki isn't updated,
yet I never contribute to it. Where is the humility?

Yep, I never have asked for the DCPI. I can search and read just fine...no need to ask silly questions.

Silly cups I think I posted about once giving some info that was asking or giving an update that they were still around.

I DO try to post helpful info and not silly questions or useless stuff. I always try to help out when people do have questions.
