This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

That is so true - but I keep trying to remind myself that at some point I have to trust that they will be ok ... I would prefer to keep them locked up safe & sound LOL

It's a new program. Kinda like Pampers GTG but not as good. Hopefully they will get with it and start offering coupons for free diapers and other goodies. You can redeem points to be entered in drawings for nice giveaways.

I see nothing wrong with keeping your kids close by.

There is this little girl that lives at the end of our street. I think she is 8 (she just started 2nd grade) she spent the WHOLE summer just riding her bike from house to house until someone would play with her. She would be gone ALL DAY. The mother didn't know any of the peoples homes that she went to. That little girl is either going to end up missing or grow up with some SERIOUS attention needing problems.

Because of that (not only that) i always make sure to be outside with my kids or at least at the kitchen table, in front of the sliding door (open) at all times. I don't care how they think it looks, I don't want them missing, hurt, or thinking that I don't care about them at all.

Same here. The older kids play in the backyard by themselves (they are 13, 10 and 7) but if the toddler is outside, I'm outside. I'm not comfortable putting that kind of responsibility on my oldest. She does babysit for an hour or so while I do errands, and does a great job, but being outside is so different when you are talking about a fast as heck 2 year old. LMAO

I was always the mom who was out in the yard when the kids were all out playing. It was me shouting "CAR COMING!!". The neighbors used to make fun of me for freaking out about cars.

C4 and Double, I didn't get by the post office today. I have a killer headache. Words to remember: Never go to employee health because of a migraine. I figured they would give me a slip to go home and lie down. The nurse took my vital signs, then got on the phone and started whispering. Next thing I know, they have me in the ER hooked up to ekgs, iv's, taking chest xrays and blood. WTH, I just have a headache, and now its worse! Anyway, I didn't feel like stopping by the PO after all that, just wanted to get home.

I'm glad you all think so. I'm EEK! all the time by the way I see parents and other caretakers ignoring their kids at the local park (3 doors down from our house, so we're there pretty much every day). I've been starting to feel like I'm the Crazy one.

I cannot tell you how many moms and dads I see texting while their kids are trying to get their attention. shake head And don't get me started on the nanny staring off into space with an infant next to her-- we actually know the parents and I've been trying to decide if I want to tell them how their nanny was ignoring their kid.

Dec12girl--- heart Schoolhouse rock!! I'm hoping the boy will like it too. Smilie Brings back all kind of fond childhood memories of Saturday morning cartoons.

What a great hubby... I do that as well for taking pics of my cakes and things... Works great. Sometimes I use a different color, but usually black.

I hope you have good insurance. Just looking at the ER costs me $100 up-front (the real fun comes later when the bill arrives).

At least they didn't try to quarantine you for H1N1...........yet. Coverlaugh
