This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

You should know better than to ask a silly question like that... Stick Out Tongue and start eating after 7pm and you will fit those sizes beautifully. Men like curves.
I just had a lemon poppyseed muffin and it was delish

It's really a design complaint. That's the 3rd store this week (non-Target) that I've been to that sizes are bigger.

Anyone need .25 horizon? PM me. I'll check this weekend sometime for PM's. GONE TO LOVE2BEAMOM

A&F are notoriously bad for that. Their 00 is more like a size 3. It's all about marketing. Women will buy it if its a smaller size.

check the barcodes, some of them are the short kind and would give you a problem
shake head Nope, got the ones with the long barcodes. And when I didn't the very first time I ever used these q's they prompted for price. These are not prompting for price, just beeping and nothing else.

So my kiddo wants a Charlie Brown birthday party in 2 weeks. I have nothing Charlie Brown for it. Has anyone seen anything Peanuts related anywhere? I know Target and Kmart have nada...ebay has some old vintage (read $$$) stuff, but I would like to just find a few things (maybe a candle/cake topper, some favor bags, etc.) to make it a Charlie Brown party for him.

I was on the Leapfrog website and saw these [leapfrog.com]

They don't expire til 12/31/09 so they will get us through the holiday season! woot

The Charlie Brown Napkins are great. If he wants Charlie (and not snoopy) it will be hard to find. I saw on one site to bake a round cake, frost it yellow and put a brown zig zag across it so it looks like charlie brown's shirt...

You could get some peanuts books and cut out the pics of Charlie to use as decorations, or glue to the gift bags....

do as theme as in "the Great Pumpkin" and carve the pumpkin in the shape of CB

little plastic footballs for cupcake decorations
play some charlie brown videos during the party.
Decorate with yellow/brown streamers
dye white t shirt yellow and use brown marker to make a CB shirt.

did that make sense?

Well, I saw it and thought it was really cute!

I'm hoping for that. I just remember Mini heart hers from the get go!

I am thinking the problem is he's getting too much foremilk and not enough hindmilk.
Wow - sounds exactly like my oldest DD was - and she is lactose intolerant. Oh the fun of baby's - and their poo...

Oh and if you are exclusively BF and your doc has advised vitamin D supplement drops, you can email Enfamil and request coupons.
I was told by a doc friend (that I highly respect and trust) that if you are eating properly, don't have any major concerning health issues that could affect absorption levels, and get enough sunlight that the vitamins are not necessary. The doc says that for most folks, it ammounts to a marketing ploy on mom's worries.

But... talk to your doc. Don't just take my word for it because I am NOT a doctor myself.

My 2.5 year old swims better than I do. How does that work?

And only BFshopgirl would understand my woes with the fashion world right now. When did everyone start making clothes bigger? XS seem to be as big as S. So now they need XXS. Why don't they just make them the same way they used to and they wouldn't need 00 below the 0, just the 0.

Oh and I'm still Target free. Except for running in to pay full price for something I needed while in the area of one. A whole 5 days.

Outa here for a few days--have fun y'all
I hate clothes shopping. One store I wear a 4, one store I wear a 6, and at another store I left after trying on an 8 and it didn't fit right. Yeah... it's crazy. I don't understand why we can't have something either more uniform or more customized. I mean, if they can do men's pants with various waists and inseams, why not do women's clothes with chest, waist, hip measurements? I dunno... maybe there's no easy solution. Makes me understand why folks used to have tailors though.

What about squirt distance?? And length of time lactating post-weaning?

Do they have that right now? He had that shirt last fall (long sleeves?) and outgrew it, I meant to buy him a new one but never did. Or did I? LMAO Have to check and make sure... I got my nephew one too b/c I call him Blockhead since his head is so big! Teehee
He also has the Linus shirt like that where he is holding the blanket (he has a blue blanket just like Linus).

I like the idea just to do the zig zag on the cake, that's very easy to do!

Yeah, I can find a bunch of Snoopy stuff but not much with the other characters.
I'm kicking myself b/c we had a season pass to a waterpark where the Peanuts gang were the mascots...I always meant to scope out the gift shop and never made it!

I might just buy the favor boxes and masks and that's it. I have a ton of clearance candy (mostly Spongebob but whatev they're fans of his too) from CVS so I think that should be enough. And I'll find some balloons too.

Thanks girls!
