Yes, this was recently. It was a short sleeve one, near the other character type shirts.

You can print out some Charlie Brown coloring pages too and set up a coloring table and then have the kiddos hang up their pics!

Good evening everyone!! I just got on for a few minutes.. I am packing the family up and we are headed to the beach tomorrow. First family vacation in several years! Hoping I can find a target or cvs close by. I feel kinda guilty taking my coupons in the car, but I would hate to pay full price for something!

Quote from whatalotofstuff :
The only thing that worked for us was putting her in the car and driving around. Seriously. I would be bawling and driving, because when my little girl screamed in pain, she sounded like a wounded animal. It was AWFUL, this guttural sort of scream over and over. Frown I frantically called the doctor's office one night because nothing was working, and I couldn't hear the nurse over her screaming. They sent me to the ER with her but by the time we got there she was asleep. Doh THAT'S when we figured out what the car could do.
I never had one with colic, but a friend of mine did. She put her little girl in the infant seat and set her on the washer while it was going. The movement of the washer soothed her to sleep every night. My oldest daughter was the most fussy child I had. She took mylicon with almost every feeding and it seemed to help as long as I gave it to her regularly. She loved her swing and slept many hours in it each day! You can also try a warm cloth on the babies tummy and a gentle massage. When I used to work in the nursery at the hospital, we had several tricks for the really fussy kids. We would swaddle them very tight and wrap a little heel warmer pad in their blanket near the tummy. Then we put them on their stomach and covered them tightly with a blanket. It worked 80% of the time.

Quote from Thrifty-n-SoCal :
Oh and if you are exclusively BF and your doc has advised vitamin D supplement drops, you can email Enfamil and request coupons.

I'd like to hear opinions on the vitamin supplements...

Mmmmmkthx!
For baby? I never had a pedi recommend any vitamins for my babies. I was always told as long as I was eating well, and they were nursing well, we were good. I can't say that I ALWAYS ate the best, but most of the time. And I kept taking my prenatals.

Quote from doublesided :
My 2.5 year old swims better than I do. How does that work?

And only BFshopgirl would understand my woes with the fashion world right now. When did everyone start making clothes bigger? XS seem to be as big as S. So now they need XXS. Why don't they just make them the same way they used to and they wouldn't need 00 below the 0, just the 0.

Oh and I'm still Target free. Except for running in to pay full price for something I needed while in the area of one. A whole 5 days.

Outa here for a few days--have fun y'all
Oh, I would love to say I needed a 0 or 00LMAO guess with gaining so much weight in 2 back to back pregnancies, I wouldn't notice clothes being bigger. They all seem too small to meCool

Quote from thuctrang :
Bash

You should know better than to ask a silly question like that... Stick Out Tongue and start eating after 7pm and you will fit those sizes beautifully. Men like curves.
I thought everyone around here liked wearing sizes 16 and 19's anyway.LMAO . truthfully that is closer to my sizeMad sad, but I have managed to lose 15 pounds lately. Guess you gotta start somewhere!

Quote from .teri. :
A&F are notoriously bad for that. Their 00 is more like a size 3. It's all about marketing. Women will buy it if its a smaller size.
I wouldnod

Hope everyone is feeling better and over the cold stuff.hug I feel like one is coming on and I hate it. I won't let it ruin my vacation!

Teri- hope the new meds do the trick for you !

Wishing all the target babies a great night of sleep!

I found some too. But I am trying to figure out why I need them. All the cough drops I own already from Kmart doubles but there has to be a reason why I have some left.

Here's the cure to babies with gassy stomachs:

In a small saucepan, put 1 cup water and about 1/2tsp anise seeds. Let boil, and when the water changes color and it starts to have a certain scent to it, turn off the heat.... Let it cool a little of course, and put it in a bottle, or feed it to the baby with a spoon..

Yeah, he's a pretty light sleeper. Like if I have him in the swing or the carseat and he's asleep, there's no way for me to, say, stop the swing or stop driving without waking him.
I know people whose kids would fall asleep in the car and then they could take the kids out of the car and put them in bed without waking them. OMG Not my kids... I always joke that with my kids, it's like the movie Speed. Remember, the bus would blow up if it dropped below a certain speed... well with us, the baby would start screaming if the car slowed to less than 10 miles per hour laugh out loud (I can laugh only now that those days are somewhat behind us Wink )

I used to love AF Secret for that exact reason! Vanity sizing - I love it! I figure, if I'm paying $50 for a pair of pants, I want to see a small size on that tag! Crylol

I did!! I was playing around doing some digi scraping and I came across the tail. I must have dl'd it at some point and forgot about it. I was just doing a quick image as Soph wanted to see herself as a mermaid laugh out loud Then I did the one that is my current avi and decided to replace it. You can still see the mermaid one under my profie pic or also on Facebook (hint, hint to all you non FB users laugh out loud)!!! Thanks for noticing Smilie

FWIW if you are going to supplement drops for yourself or children...take a closer look at Enfamil's product versus perhaps other companies...

Vit D. comes in many different levels of quality...and of course additives are a concern.

Embarrassment My DD is one of those that I can move around (change diaper, change clothes, bathe, move her from car or to car) without her waking up! We have been very lucky with our DD!! She likes her sleep!

My older sis (my niece) on the other hand will wake up at any movement/change in sound (they have to have the sound of rain in the background for her to sleep). And then will refuse to go back to sleep! EEK! They have a real hard time with her.

Oh, and vomit @ the line in bold!!

So this is what I get for not getting that headlamp replaced yesterday. Instead i went to the doctor (had to) and then out with my sis tearpad hunting and such all day. Totally forgot about the warning ticket. And didn't drive my car all day.

DD calls at 10:00 pm and needs a ride home from work. I get in the car and turn on the headlights and BAM! the other one goes out. TOTAL darkness shake head I'm off to Pep Boys right now for TWO headlights....

When it rains, it pours.

Both of my kids slept the longest in their carseats. I would get them to sleep, put them in, then carry the car seat up to our bedroom and plop it on the floor next to the bed. Something about being all scrunched up in there I guess, just like when they were in my big old belly! Smilie

I think the cashier used that Help button last night for the customer in front of me. Something about a raincheck not applying the right price (she had already paid). The screen said "What's wrong?" and she put Missed Discount and it was trying to help her give her the discount, but it didn't end up working and she had to go to GS anyways.

Hope everyone got some sleep.. I did, although not as much as I would have liked. Heading out in a few to the beachbounce woke up to rain here, so I hope it clears up on the drive. I dread the car ride with my DD. She doesn't like to be in her car seat more than an hour or so. I am thinking we will be watching alot of movies and eating snacksWink

Happy Friday everyone!

Don't forget your free chocolate today.
