This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Had a STFC run at Kmart last night and couldn't figure out why until I got to the car...

Sorry for all deals no chat. Here's some:
Remember I was asking for ideas for DS' Peanuts themed bday party? Well I bit the bullet and ordered some stuff from Amazon today (I did have a gc though). Well tonight at Target I bought his Halloween costume (Scooby Doo). For the last month I have been asking him are you having a Scooby Doo bday party (had already started thinking about ideas and buying small stuff)? And he says no Charlie Brown. So now that he has his costume, what does he say? Now I can have my Scooby Doo bday party! I say so we are having a Charlie Brown bday party, right? And he says no Scooby Doo! Blink I'm trying to see if I can cancel my order and get some Scooby stuff instead. And guess who just saw some Scooby stuff at Kmart this morning and didn't buy it? That's right, me! Ugh.

OMG! I totally saw that Scooby costume $40 bucks though EEK! good thing it's at T!Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) The only prob here is that both of my closest stores only have the one size...I think it's like a 2T !?! I need the next size up for like a 4 y/o.

My plan:
My 2 y/o is in luuuuuuv w/ Scooby! So he would wear the Scooby costume.

My 11 y/o ds would be Shaggy, cause he is the tallest and super skinny,

My 6 y/o ds & 4 1/2 y/o dd would be Fred and Daphine with wigs and all.

And the best part is my newest baby girl, who will be about 2 weeks old come Halloween will be Velma!--- I even found little glasses that would be perfect and I can just put her in a set of orange jammies or something!

Then with all these big boxes I've been getting from my Kohls shopping sprees I would paint the Mystery Machine on the biggest one then cover her baby stroller with it!!!!!!!!

& as a bonus Dh & I would dress up like Ghouls or bad guys for the Gang to catch! We would totally win ANY contest we entered! Cool

If anyone locates a Scooby for a 4 y/o sized kid pahhhhleeeese let me know!

It was weird cause he was at -3.09 and was still scanning.. It was like it didn't phase him at all. I took the last stack of qs from him and threw a GC on. What a cashierBig Grin

So cute! I wish my boys liked the same stuff I would totally make my oldest be Shaggy! But he's a big Star Wars fan, so he's going to be Darth Vader. They were Tom and Jerry one year, everyone loved that!
The costume says it's size 2-4. My almost 3 yo is fairly big for his age (33 lbs and pretty tall too) and it looks like it should fit him fine.

I think it has to do with how your state or maybe county applies coupons towards tax. When I was in Chicago, I was handing over coupons and look up and see a negative total! EEK! In my stores, if I'm even getting close, it beeps and says "cannot use coupon, total would be negative". EEK!

Yesterday I bought a lot of food in my first order but I did get some other stuff too. I looked at my receipt and it literally says "No Tax" at the bottom! woot

Ok, I figure you guys might know this. Does anyone know how long the Leapfrog cat at Kmart is supposed to be printing?

Great, now the DS that's having the birthday says the red dinosaur at Target is "too mean". He's referring to Spike, which of course is what I have for his birthday gift! Whee
My YDS cried when I hit the button on the display to see what he did!

I have been following the K thread pretty closely the last couple days, and I don't know that anyone really knows. I do know that no matter what day I get the CAT they all expire on 11/15. Maybe that is somehow related?!

Once I get home, what do I find the reciepts stating that I DID IN FACT USE THE CARD!!!!! Must run for cover, they have flagged me...EEK! I am totally freaking out as this is the same store I said last week treated me all rude about the TQs etc and that I wouldnt be going back!!!
I don't think they have flagged you. I'm sure it was just their computers messing up or the CS person didn't know what she was doing. I wouldn't worry about it

DD is 5 and DS is 7. So far they haven't asked for anything out of the ordinary or new. DD wants Barbies and baby dolls and DS wants a Nintendo DSi and Legos, and of course he wants the $100 box of Legos
