Thumbs up OP.

I'm surprised this isn't blowing up (well Newegg I guess?).

Fast, cheap, TLC, 1665 TBW endurance, seems pretty good?

Still waiting to replace my 1TB NVMe SSD I bought four years ago for $69. Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron stop colluding to milk the consumer at 1-2TB kkthx. We are ready to be cheated at 8-128TB.

Digitimes: Samsung new NAND flash capacity coming online in 2H21 may worsen price falls.

Everyone has been brainwashed to eat these high price because xyz reasons. It's easier and cheaper to print ssd NAND memory than make a hard drive yet you don't see those staying stationary at 1-2TB for the past 4 years.

Why does the 2TB version have slower write speed than the 1TB version?

Great value for a great performing drive. Even better than the 1TB Samsung Evo Plus on sale for $99 from B&H a month ago

I'm also curious about this. Especially the random read/write speeds seem significantly slower. Went with the 2TB nevertheless, as I need the extra space. Hopefully the speed difference will not be too noticeable in daily use.

Great deal, thanks OP!

I ordered this exact item 3 years ago. I will say I was surprised how much faster it was than a standard SSD. Once you use this it will make them feel very slow. Its been very reliable so far, I mostly use my rig as a gaming pc. So maybe about average hard drive usage. I normally during a purchase review whats out there for a long time and at the time this was one of the better items to purchase.

No sir still using it right now in my trusty old Dell laptop. Not the fastest but faster than any laptop HD. In any case I got it for $69 on a NAND downturn. Was hoping for 4TB at $100 by now 4 years later still being milked by your favorite SSD gang Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron. Just read some of those links I provided. Even some other tech publications believed years ago we would be further than this.
