Interesting that you can find this link just Googling for "usps covid tests" but the official government website [covidtests.gov] still says it is not available until tomorrow. Typical. Thanks and repped.

Yes. They are rapid tests, lateral flow tests, that are administered at home and results within 15 minutes.

That sucks. There has to be a workaround for these situations. Maybe put your until number in the address line as well instead of the second line?
Don't think it's an issue if you live an actual apartment/condo space, but I'm guessing OP is living similar to someone living in a frat/sorority house, so it's just one address.

Is this the test kit I can test at home and get a result at home without sending it to the lab?

Tried to order, says the tests were already ordered for my address. Which I obviously know isn't correct (single family home). Wonder if its locked now until tomorrow?

That's possible. I assumed separate units within the same building since he stated "multi unit" and "different apartment". When I think frat, I think different rooms. Either way, I hope he finds a fix for it.

It's this type of reasoning why we're still in this mess.
Well, not entirely. When you don't have symptoms, why would you test? No way of knowing that if you feel fine. People aren't going to test daily, and there aren't enough tests to make that happen.

It's been insanely hard to procure test kits, regardless of economic status. If people need test kits to know if they have covid or not, the more people who can get them the better.

If you have easy access to kits then sure. But not everyone does.

If you're responsible and going to see someone who is vulnerable, maybe?

Well that's what China is doing. They lockdown entire cities and force everyone to be tested multiple times.

Its only a matter of time before people take advantage of this and start selling them on FB marketplace for a few bucks.
Sure, that will happen. Who cares if some randos make a couple bucks off of a couple tests, if overall the program helps saves lives?
