Interesting that you can find this link just Googling for "usps covid tests" but the official government website [covidtests.gov] still says it is not available until tomorrow. Typical. Thanks and repped.

Yes. They are rapid tests, lateral flow tests, that are administered at home and results within 15 minutes.

No, no one accepts the results from these at home tests since they aren't very accurate. Most people who need tests for travel or work using need something from a lab like a PCR test.

Only lets you register once per address, looks to be even if there's several apartments on one mailbox. Also rejects business addresses.

That is in place, which is why you need to order via USPS as opposed to another website. The address used must be standardized and deliverable.
