I dunno it will do 1000w on startup and 800w continuous, yeah its not going to run your entire house but would handle a fridge, freezer and some other stuff. It's sine wave so you can run electronics off of it.

For the price I think its a pretty good deal, is there some better deal out there that will do more for less, please share since I am looking but most of the ones that do over 1000w continuous are double this...

Looks like this sale comes and goes here was the previous posting, folks seem to like them - https://slickdeals.net/f/15533479-sportsman-1000-watt-inverter-generator-for-sensitive-electronics-160-tractor-supply-online-only-159-99?src=SiteSearch
A Jackery costs $50 more and only outputs 200W peak.

Batteries aren't touching this
That battery is the niche, practically useless for anything but charging cell phones, and when it's dead, you'll need this to recharge it.

Very niche product. I would guess in most cases a battery pack or booster pack would be better served.

It's a cool thing, but not worth it when you consider the price/options out there today that can provide electricity on this level.

I just wish these small things came being able to run propane. I use my small sportsman (portability) more than my 2000W inverter, but we rarely have power outages. Great little generator for "other" uses than home emergency or RV.

To me 1000W is a bit underpowered for a refrigerator.
My GE side-by-side needs more than 1000W.

Example? Not going to last an hour with the load this can handle, and definitely not at this price.

"Generator is designed to make charging electronics easy, while you are enjoying the outdoors." For its designed purpose, it is easily substituted. Not saying it doesn't have uses, just as I said very niche.

You don't need this precision of electricity to run a fridge. I'm not powering my house off of this in a power outage.

This is a camping generator to charge your toys. Batteries will do this much better, with a much smaller/lighter footprint for camping.

Last summer I saw someone use this to power regular box fan to cool down kids during baseball game. I thought that was neat.

This seems to be a great option for a cheaper unit to power some portable led lights for sports or construction. Pair it with the recent LED Lithonia HD/Amazon deal and you can light up a large area.

Can your said battery last for 16 hours and longer?

Not with this capacity at this price. You're comparing apples to oranges. Do you have some battery examples that you'd recommend? I still don't see anything mentioned.
