Damn, I should've waited 24 days. Could've save $0.87!!!!

The ones I received from the last FP had great welds. No problem at all.

Thumbs up that these are double pin/double locking. This should be a standard feature on all jack stands

Used it on my daily, a badass CR-V.

It can lift high enough to clear the tires off the ground.

Damn, $270 seems like a lot to spend for a jack from Harbor Freight. If you're willing to spend that much, there's lots of other options out there.
I know this is SlickDeals and all, but buy once, cry once. What's your suggestion?

Depends on your lift height and weight requirements, but I'd start with Arcan as a baseline and go from there. In the sub $300 category there's plenty of options other than Harbor Freight.

You can't bleed the brakes unless you get into the car and pump the brake pedal so yes weight of the driver is important
I recall, there are a couple ways to bleed the brakes without someone pumping the brake.

1) Gravity, this is done by many who work on classic cars. Simply open the valve and allow time/gravity to work.
2) There are pumps out there that allow you to connect to the bleed valve, using suction action to pull the brake fluid out.

I've got a car that I only drive in the summer. Would this be ok to get the car off of the ground and leave set during the cold months?? Google has the curb weight at 3400lbs??

I'm happy with my Costco Arcan jack so far.

The price on it fluctuates--it was 179.99 when I ordered it a few months ago.

Good jack. Aluminum frame to save a little weight (but still quite heavy), works on low-clearance vehicles but still lifts high enough for most vehicles.

Covered by costco warranty/return policy, so if it does start leaking or something, I can just take it bacl

4 of these stands should be okay, but check out this guide for safe, long-term use of jack stands: https://mechanics.stackexchange.com/a/17655

I have two pairs. They're great. Inspected the welds when I received them and they all looked uniform and solid.

How much would you have to spend on Jack stands to trust them then…?

There are a few things in life you don't want to cheap out on. Jack stands are high up on that list.

Hard pass.
Please provide what you recommend then? Do you have a experience with this brand?

These seem pretty good...
I have a pair of craftsman ones I bought a long time ago. I like them because they have flat webbed legs. These just have the corner legs so if you're using them on say gravel, it'll dig into the ground, which is potential to fail. You'd want to set a flat plate underneath these jacks for safety.
Looking for another pair, but I might hold off on these.

Also price matched at Walmart.

Do not use any jack stands (or ramps) on gravel. The uneven loads and point loads can lead to failure. Always use them on flat, solid surfaces.

Do you own a truck or SUV? Just wondering if these will go high enough for a truck
Yes they will if you don't have a lift.
The posted stands, T-6903D, have a range of:
11-3/8" to 16-3/4"

If you do have a lift, go with these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074R17GL4/
The T-6906D, have a range of:
16" to 23-1/2".

I have a 7" lift on my Silverado and need the T-6906D.
Even better stands are ESCO brand stands like these:
ESCO 10498K https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EAW6E8A/
or
ESCO 10498 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0019JVIPM/
Both with a range of 13" to 21-1/2".
Be careful ordering the 10498K, the one with bonus axle support post. Amazon's inventory was screwed up and they were sending the 10498 without the extra post. It took me 6 orders to get 2 stands with both posts. Reviews also mention this error. This was 3 years ago, so it's possible to be corrected now.

Like seriously? If you stand in one leg your weight becomes half?
If you put only one foot on the bathroom scale, and keep the other foot planted, it won't be 100% of your weight that reads out. Thats what hes trying to get at. Try harder.
