Sounds like a good deal if:

1. The warranty provider is smooth on claim processing.

2. You have a credit card which provide two more years warranty which add up to 6 years warranty in total.

3. Anything else?

I can't speak to the quality of the TV you will receive purchasing here, but I purchased this TV last month and it's freaking amazing! (My first OLED)

Most credit cards don't extend refurbished warranties though

I bought the same tv but new in Best Buy and it's amazing. I had some buyers remorse until I turned it on and started watching a movie and even regular tv looks great. I would buy this for sure.

Same here. I got the 65" to replace a five year old OLED, and it's the best TV I've ever had. This deal now has me tempted to return it and get this for the size!

How's the UI? Is this the same processor as LG 'A' OLED's? (Slower than B or C?)

I have yet to hear of a single positive experience from those who have had claims with CPS in threads here. The TV is fantastic and I'm planning on getting either it or the A80K once comparison reviews hit later this year. This *could* be a killer deal.

That's a good price. I personally just got the one from Costco with the All-State 3 year for total of 5 years. I know someone that had a bad experience with the CPS warranty not wanting to do anything. I have used Costco's warranty in the past and it definitely wasn't painless but at least you could get ahold of someone. For an extra $600 getting a longer (and better imo) warranty and a brand new TV made sense for me but this is a great price for one of the best value OLED's on the market currently.

CPS warranty was also discussed in this thread:

I've been looking for a TV that comes with burn in. It keeps me from worrying about doing it myself.

The long and short of it is that they are hit or miss.
This deal is arguably better than the Secondipity deal because they have the same TV for the same price, but do not include any warranty.
Everything sold by Secondipity is "factory refurbished" (this is based on their broader auction network advertising refurb units sold by Sony as the auction seller, and also by calling Secondipity to ask them about having their authorized refurbisher repair a broken unit and having them respond that they do not have any authorized reburbishers because they get their units from Sony).
Not saying Buydig is necessarily better or worse than Secondipity, but assuming they also come from Sony (who likely contracts to a third party refurbisher in the Garland, TX area based on Secondipity's warehouse being located there), it could really go either way. Take a look at the Secondipity sale thread (link) for some examples of what folks received when rolling the dice - I, myself have gone through quantity of 4 of the XR65X90J and each one has had some issue ranging from destroyed screen (not obviously due to shipping either), to scratches on screen, to dead pixels, to panel defects, to consistent phantom restarts (undetermined hardware / firmware issue). The XR55X90J I got is perfectly fine and looks like someone may have just returned it for being too big or too small for their purpose. All units I received were graded as refurbished A with essentially no issues other than possibly minor cosmetic or functional defects, but we have very different standards on what is a 'minor' defect.

I hated it personally. TV controls are all over the place.

Why do there seem to be so many refurb OLED TVs for sale? Are they all demos?
