A wise person knows when MSRP will actually net them more than MSRP when the sell the item the following year. Unopened Lego sets are a better yearly investment than Gold. Come on man, get on our l e v e l. Or don't. More for us.
Not anymore irs now sniffing around at $600 in transactions

...and a true wise person would not need to gamble on the collectability of a Lego Typewriter to make a possible profit.
Actually, it depends. I've got a few knock-offs (for sets or things LEGO doesn't have). Quality ranges from what you say, to indistinguishable. All of them cheaper than LEGO. Manuals are usually consistently sub-par, however.
I am absolutely open to changing my mind. any brands you suggest trying?
Can you imagine? Walking into your friends house and seeing their Lego typewriter, Lego NES, retro Tv and maybe just an entire room dedicated to Lego's…
If one were to look it up on the Lego site, and one would find that it is mostly a model… not to he considered as a funtioning working device. Some letter buttons do raise a stricker, it does have a ribbon..mostly for show, and you can run paper through the roller, and that is about . It is a toy model to he assembled for enjoyment only!
It is a relatively classical printer. I think this printer focuses more on feelings and enjoyment. Maybe the price is a bit expensive for not including paper and ink, but I believe that if you buy some paper and ink alone, it will not have a big impact. Thank you, hope you can understand
Honestly bought it because of this comment. Hopefully it ages well
I paid $500 for the 2019 discontinued Porsche Lego set with an MSRP of $300, which was a good price, with eBay prices around $600. So I'd believe it. And also wish I knew that existed earlier (I got the Bugatti and Lamborghini for below retail).

Manufactured hype by Lego will not make it collectable. The things that aren't collectable now will be the true collectibles tomorrow.
So what? If you want this, it is a good deal. This is not an investment forum.
