I wonder how much money these people make (if any). Kind of makes me want to bang out a few episodes of some sub-par nonsense and see if it gains any traction.

The way I read this, you get the credit by starting a Vella story. It then can be used to buy a physical product sold by Amazon.com, but not to buy any future kindle books or any other digital product. So, you can use it to buy a CD, but not the MP3 version of the same album. Although presumably you can buy an auto-rip CD and get both Smilie

you get 500 free tokens ... read a few pages/episodes/chapters and click on get 500 free tokens ... then you can read more free (one chapter costs 37 tokens on the one I looked at)

Followed the link, got to the Amazon offer, clicked on a reading, got tokens, read a couple of episodes. Then, nothing. Guess it didn't work for me.
