The "Online Savings" mailer has just been sent out. I know this isn't the in-club mailer so apologies if that disappoints anyone (that should be arriving soon I assume). Images are attached but you can also find them at the Imgur link below.
I have bought all my furniture from Costco and I have only good things to say about them. All furniture stores seem more like car dealerships where they are actively trying to screw you over. With Costco furniture, you get high quality furniture delivered and assembled in your home with the full Costco return policy if you are not happy.
Yes warranty is great. We purchased a set of leather sectional, which discolored horribly within 9 months on the most seated corner. Posted the return via Costco, and the manufacturer offered half off with a replaced corner. We opt to return it, though, fearing that the same issue happens again. Carrier came pick all up and we received full refund after a week.
Awesome. And this was after 9 months of use. What is the warranty on furniture. Is that also 2 years
online can be very hit or miss. delivery issues, quality control issues, etc. you have better luck in-store but you're limited to the selection on hand. still better quality than rooms to garbage.
Store one you have pick yourself. Better get it shipped
OK, so furniture is one of those things folks like to try before they buy. Costco furniture gets lots of thumbs up here but what happens if when you get it it just doesn't fit you right, or fit your space right, or you don't like the color, or whatever . . . you just pick up the phone and ask them to come back and take it away and get a refund? Just like that?
Yes, you are not gonna believe it but we did it with our mattress. First one we got it was memory foam too soft anyway we did refund process online/over phone and the guy with truck and more stuff (sectional, mattress, couch..) came picked up took a picture send it to them and we got our money back in a day or so. I was in shock, I did not expected some random guy to come pick it up. I was on window taking pictures of his truck license plates and him pitting everything on but everything was so funny and weird. Anyway we got our money and another firm mattress
I'd suggest investing some more. You spend 1/3 of your day laying on it.
Surely they must be somewhat good no? They are memory foam. Maybe not last as long as a $2k bed but that's a high price tag for someone in my income bracket 😅
How is the quality of furniture from Costco, like those sectionals and couches? Anyone has any experience?
I only have one couch from Costco and it is good. Most of all that was the only one available for delivery within a week. All other stores were out of stock. As with anything Costco, you can alway return if the product isn't up to your expectations. They will assemble, and haul it away if needed.
Don't get anything with a veneer like tables and chairs but the leather couches and such are great. The veneer stuff at costco chips and discolors very easily.

I used up buy 400 dollar beds
Then I got a 2000 dollar mattress on a us-mattress clearance.
I think it's a sealy hybrid silver plus. Posturdeic something like that.
I cannot go back. Try n snag a deal like that, it's worth it. I literally got like 75% off few years back but I've seen similar deals over the year
FYI, those smarty-pants prenatals in that teal bottle are the worst tasting things in the world. Threw out an entire bottle after none of our pregnant friends wanted to touch it either.
Oddly enough, those are the only ones my wife will eat while she's pregnant, they're always sold out in my area
Wow, if $125K per year is average, I wish I were average. I wouldn't know what to do with that much money.
In HCOL area, which is a majority of places where you make this much, you end up spending most of it on housing. 125k is living in a tiny old apartment in an area where you can't let your kids out in many cases

not necessarily. online is more expensive because of shipping and the shippers are not great IMO. you're gambling on whether it will come damaged or not.

Depends a lot... reviews on the website you should definitely check. The only risk is your time / hassle - if you don't like the furniture Costco will pick it up and give you a full refund. That is ONLY if you ordered it online and had it delivered - purchases in store must be returned to the store (that's why the cost less).
Recently made a large purchase and had a terrible time. Costco is great, but they let the furniture vendors pick their own delivery service if they wish. The vendor in this case picked a delivery company with terrible customer reviews... and they lived up to that 100%. Took several attempts to even get them to deliver it, and when they did I have literally never seen a less experienced or prepared moving crew in my life... including when I used to do that in college. Not only did they not bring any standard equipment (moving straps??) but they actually didn't know how to lift property or navigate doorways/stairwells.
The furniture itself from costco all seems like most costco things - solid mid tier quality for cheap tier prices. These aren't the best you can get by far but they're several times cheaper and usually pretty solid.

Do they assemble?
