The "Online Savings" mailer has just been sent out. I know this isn't the in-club mailer so apologies if that disappoints anyone (that should be arriving soon I assume). Images are attached but you can also find them at the Imgur link below.
I saw an article[businessinsider.com] today that says the average Costco shopper earns $125K a year. Can you believe that? I feel like I don't belong at Costco now among all the rich people.
Costco definitely ain't no Walmart that's for sure.
I always thought the price doesn't go down too much on these higher end models, except they release a newer one with the similar price range of MSRP of last year's model. For example $2800 for X91 going down to $2200-$2000 range, then new one coming up at $2800-$3000. Seems like lower end $1000-$1200 mid range $1600, mid-high which X91 is around $2200's.. I am not sure if those will be any lower, but I might be wrong.
The high-end Sony's tend to hit their rock bottom prices in July to August. The 75" X90CH was selling for as low as $1299.97 and the 85" X90CH was selling for as low as $1499.97. However, these were close-out prices and only if your local Costco still had these TVs in stock during July and August.
I wouldn't say everything they sell is high quality. But their return policy confides me to take a chance on their furniture.
Yes warranty is great. We purchased a set of leather sectional, which discolored horribly within 9 months on the most seated corner. Posted the return via Costco, and the manufacturer offered half off with a replaced corner. We opt to return it, though, fearing that the same issue happens again. Carrier came pick all up and we received full refund after a week.
To add to the choir, I've bought all my furniture from Costco (beds, chests of drawers, sofas, dining set, etc.). It's high quality at a reasonable price; I've had my sofas for 6 years now with 2 kids and they look better than the ones my buddy bought less than a year ago. The bed is solid and I might die on it one day
How is the quality of furniture from Costco, like those sectionals and couches? Anyone has any experience?
I have practically my entire house furnished with Costco furniture (bed sets, living room sets, dining room sets, patio sets, etc.). I haven't had a bad set yet. The value is outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone.
FYI, those smarty-pants prenatals in that teal bottle are the worst tasting things in the world. Threw out an entire bottle after none of our pregnant friends wanted to touch it either.
For certain pregnancy situations, their ingredient list is what sells them. Taste isn't anything to write home about, but it's fine.
Acer Nitro 27" curved gaming monitor (ED270R PBiipx) was $179.99 (same price as this upcoming ad). GF just ordered it a few days ago for that price, now it's been raised to $219.99 and they're bringing it back down in a few days for the "sale".
Just hope nobody bought it in these few in-between days
If they did buy it in the in between days, they can get a price adjustment easily. Their price adjustment window is 30 days and must have receipt.
