A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower Intelligent LCD CST135UC provides battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. The CST135UC uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends battery life. AVR is essential in areas where power fluctuations occur frequently.

Two USB charge ports (2.1 Amp shared) rapidly power portable devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players, and cameras.

Just keep in mind that when the batteries died on mine the entire thing just had no power. The battery is usually easy to replace but remember that there are two batteries, and if they swell like mine, you will need to take the screws off the back, take off the back cover, then push the battery out.

It is always this price for years now... occasionally it goes on sale for 85 and that is a slick deal. This is everyday price at costco

Agree. I've been eyeing this and waiting for $85. I've been seeing the $99 for weeks now. I check occasionally.

I have a similar model and when power went out with just the modem running off of it, it would shut off every 15 mins or so. No setting in the software is causing it.

Really? I want to use it to keep my internet up (hoping for hours)

Hmm I guess I should be okay. How close do you get to 100% load with your PC on this battery backup?

At idle not even close. At idle my system runs about 200w. At full load while gaming I'm at 650w. I've have been using this backup for a little over a year with no problems.

I recently purchased this because it looked smaller and sleeker than my old Monster Power surge that literally was a monster. I like it, but I don't like the fact the display doesn't stay on permanently and the menus on the display don't look anything like the menus listed on the manual. LCD goes on sleep mode after a while.

How long does it last under that kind of load?

1350 VA at 99$. is cheaper than the 1500VA at 120$.

99$ / 1350 = .074 / va
120$ / 1500 = .08. / va
