Seems to me if you do a lot of daytime TV watching OLED might not be worth the extra $$. However, night time movies are awesome.
No signs of burn in whatsoever.

Nope! The new Apple TV 4K supports HDMI 2.1, but as far as I know Apple hasn't unlocked the features yet. Enjoy the A8H, it's a beautiful display.

The TV supports eARC and Dynamic HDR by enabling Enchanched in the TV HDMI settings. If you're not gaming then you don't need HDMI 2.1. Eventually HDMI 2.1 will be the standard, but most newer TVs only have two HDMI 2.1 inputs.

Direct sunlight would be an issue for sure, lights not reflecting directly off the screen are fine. Looks pretty amazing in a light controlled room.
If you don't play new consoles and have decent light control TV still seems solid.
It does have EARC.
We just moved and put our 2-3 year old Sony 75" 950f over the fireplace in the main room and I think its a little too big. Not to mention we need a real wide viewing angle.
We are ok with the brightness of the LED TV. You think we'd be ok with this in its place?
