I bought an AData XPG SX8200 Pro that was listed at 3500/3000 at the time of the order;
My tested performance NEVER got close to listed values;
After a while AData revised the product and changed speeds to 3350/2350 !!! which is closer to what I'm getting, so I can say
"I WAS TRICKED by adata to buy their product"
I will never buy another adata again, so to you I'm saying
Good luck!

The 2Tb is on sale too for 250. Also a great price and worth every penny.

For the downvoting people. Yes Adata Did and does swap components so all their performance claims need to be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Looking for an SSD for my PS5. Why negative on this? Seems like a good price. Is it because speed isn't as good as WD or Samsung?

Odd, it was a front page deal @ this price in November. Not sure why it would have a downvote. I'm shopping around for one too, but not ready to buy something yet. thanks for posting

It's been this price for months, I think it is MSRP. I bought one myself about 3 weeks ago from Amazon for this price. Seemed like the best deal at the time for ready PS5 SSD. Still a good deal, relative to other options.

I would recommend the WD SN850 I have a 2tb installed in my PS5 and it works perfectly and is faster.
There was a 1TB WD on sale for $140 previously. I would keep an eye out for that or the Samsung 980 pro.
Both are comparable.

I have one. Works good in my ps5 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. don't need a fancy brand just for games imho. For my desktop then it'll be a bit different but I don't expect this to fail any time soon.

Wasn't the Adata one of the manufacturers caught changing SSD components last year?

Still waiting to replace my 1TB NVMe SSD I bought four years ago for $69. Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron stop colluding to milk the consumer at 1-2TB kkthx. We are ready to be cheated at 8-128TB.

Digitimes: Samsung new NAND flash capacity coming online in 2H21 may worsen price falls.

Everyone has been brainwashed to eat these high prices because xyz reasons. It's easier and cheaper to print ssd NAND memory than make a hard drive yet you don't see those staying stationary at 1-2TB for the past 4 years.
