are these really made of walnut or are they just over priced
To determine if they are overpriced you should listen to them. Not based on the cabinet finish. KEF is a great audio company but you may prefer another company's sound characteristics.

I've owned a couple of KEF products over the years with no issues.

I've got some monitor audio bronze speakers, would these be worth getting over what I have now if anyone has experience with em?

Having experience with both, you're comparing two very different sounds.

Keep in mind sound is subjective but I would say in basic terms.
These are more upfront sounding on the bright side with being more directive.

The bronze are more neutral on the laidback side. More broad giving more mid bass.

Whether it's worth $500 to you, no one can answer that.

As another post stated these are on Amazon, to truly know buy them and compare for yourself. If they aren't worth it you can just return them.

Not made of walnut. Priced high for the driver and construction quality. Fantastic speakers.

Anyone care to share an opinion here?

I recently purchased two Klipsch RP-160M bookshelf speakers and R-120SW subwoofer. I quickly learned even at very low volume the subwoofer simultaneously bothers all six neighbors who share this building with me. The combined priced was about $470.

I haven't re "auto" tuned the Denon receiver with just the speakers only (no sub).

How do you think these will compare to the RP-160M's ($250 shipped) used without a subwoofer for tv watching and enjoying music? Receiver outputs 80W max per channel at 8ohms. A dedicated amp may be in the cards in 2023 or 2024 but I don't have that kind of extra cash right now.

It's a relatively small living room with speakers faced right at me on the couch. Might give it a try since the price of these is just a little more than the price of the Klipsch bookshelf plus sub. If I eventually move out of here to a single family home I'd look into a sub but that's not in the cards right now. I like the Klipsch but I have to really crank them high to hear dialog well on TV. Music sounds much better on them. I do listen to music far more often than I watch TV though. I usually listen to music pretty loud but I have to be cognizant of the other condos too (bass).

You aren't supposed to make speakers out of natural wood. Too many imperfections and particle board is typically more dense so it works better.

It's a vinyl cover though. Youd probably be looking for a walnut veneer which would be preferred for cosmetics

Sonus Faber speaker cabinets are typically made with real high quality wood, such as walnut, and they're known for making high quality speakers winning many international awards.

Agreed. I worked next to a bass guitar speaker cabinet maker. He used higher density particle board. Then he covered it in a felt material. Every cabinet was tested for function and sound. Plywood or solid wood, he would not use. It wasn't due to visual imperfections. Instead, it was due to voids or fluctuations in density that would affect the consistency of the sound.

I think the klipsch are better speakers. Monodrivers are typically pretty muddy, base notes impact clarity of treble. You won't have that issue with klipsch

How do these compare to the Revel concerta M12?

No comparison. I know everyone hears differently and has different sound preferences, but Revel is a better overall sound in all major categories. Of course, Revel is pricier. In this scenario, you do get what you pay for.

Can anyone recommend some good stands for these? Thanks!
Depending on the scenario, these are all around good stands. https://www.amazon.com/Sanus-SF26B1-26-inch-Speaker-Stands/dp/B004T7VCM0/ref=sr_1_12?crid=1Y1R6TJRYY... [amazon.com]
Fill them with silica sand and you have a very solid stand.
