I think Staples switched the speed specs on the 120 and 250 gb models. 120 is only 600 MB/s write.
Endurance is 70tbw.
This is a dramless drive.
It's about the same price as an 128gb USB 3 stick though.

Will this SSD plug into a "PCI Express x1 (Gen 3.0)"? Or do I need to get an expansion card for the "PCI Express x1 (Gen 3.0)" and then plug the SSD into the expansion card? Thank you.

That's a lie.

You gotta have a REALLY specific use for one of these to justify the purchase.

The lack of capacity isnt just a capacity issue alone, it affects speed due to lack of parallel channels...It affects longevity because more of the NAND is being written to/read from at any time. Youll have proportionally even LESS space when you cordon some space off to make the drive more reliable.

You probably dont have many M.2 slots, let one left to waste on a drive that barely compares to a SATA (2.5 OR M.2)

I 've bought the EX920 128 and 256 GB models, they've worked great for years but do slow down, still they're significantly faster than a SATA drive and cheaper than the over priced Samsung stuff. A secure wipe does help restore some speed to the drive after a year or so of usage. Here's the link to firmware update tool: https://www.multipointe.com/downl...d-support/

2100/1300 is not for the 120gb. The smaller the drive capacity, the slower the speeds usually are. you'll see most 1tb models are the true fast models. I wonder who actually makes this device , as I don't believe HP has fab process for nvme

Yeeeaaaahhhhhh but they also took the time to bother sharing postings for 120GB internal SSDs so I'm gonna take a leap and guess that's it's at least not an intentional falsehood.

What are you going to do with 120GB storage? Install windows would almost fill up.

This honestly doesn't even suffice as a simple boot drive, unless perhaps you have the cleanest OS on earth with literally no apps to start at boot.

Use it as a cache drive.
