The lack of capacity isnt just a capacity issue alone, it affects speed due to lack of parallel channels...It affects longevity because more of the NAND is being written to/read from at any time. Youll have proportionally even LESS space when you cordon some space off to make the drive more reliable.
You probably dont have many M.2 slots, let one left to waste on a drive that barely compares to a SATA (2.5 OR M.2)

Yeeeaaaahhhhhh but they also took the time to bother sharing postings for 120GB internal SSDs so I'm gonna take a leap and guess that's it's at least not an intentional falsehood.
